Romeo Viganotti Gelateria In Genova

Very tasty gelato for only 2.5€, the pistachio was best.

(I'm Italian from Genoa!!! but I need to type this in English because I need the whole world to know how insane and good this gelato is first of all, the girl working there was an angel, she answered all my annoying questions and made me try as many flavours as I liked!! She was also very patient with my Scottish friend who clearly had no idea what was going on!! Love her (give her a raise)! I ended up choosing Gorgonzola and walnut + orange chocolate, and it was the most divine thing I have ever tasted - I swear I let out a scream when I first tasted the Gorgonzola. My friend got gin and grapefruit + almond and amaretto + orange chocolate. In his words, with tears in his eyes, he said "compared to any other food I have tried here in Genova, this ice cream is by far the best. I'm not sure if l'll ever eat ice cream again."

This place is amazing. Walked in as they were closing and they were so kind. They let me taste a couple of flavors, and I ended up going with lemon cream and pesto. As in salty ice cream pesto. And the combination was amazing. I can't recommend this place enough. Great people, amazing ice cream. You can't go wrong.

Hands down the best gelato I have ever had! The woman serving was very kind and even insisted we sample as many flavours as we like. Creative, original, superb quality, amazing service... overall incredible!! (not to mention the amount of plant based options) Grazie mille🙏

A new benchmark for ice creams. Pineapple-ginger is unsurpassed, there are also bolder combinations. The Viganotti chocolate and ice cream factory located in the same block provides a solid foundation for excellent flavors.

Innovative and good flavours, shame about the really small portions and the small place, but being in the Genoese alleys I think it couldn't have been otherwise

We have visited many ice cream parlors in different parts of Italy, but this gelateria stands out in my opinion. Great ambience and incredibly good ice cream. Five stars is still too low for me. Plus prices that are lower than the Italian average. Absolute recommendation from me.

La migliore gelateria di Genova e, forse, in Italia! Gelati originali , fatti con ingredienti freschi, ricchi e saporiti. Anziché con le solite " polverine" diluite. Gusti particolari e raffinati. Il cioccolato è ovviamente il must, trattandosi di una cioccolateria storica. Personale gentile e professionale. Un'esperienza da non mancare....
