06/08/2024: I have been to Burmet several times: high quality burgers and dishes, with unusual and tasty combinations; wide choice of beers and wine. The place, although very small, has a really nice atmosphere. The prices, predictably, are a little above average: the fact that the side dish often has to be ordered separately at a surcharge is jarring. Drinks and desserts are also slightly expensive in relation to the quantity. You will not be disappointed by the dishes but be prepared to spend at least 50 euros for two well-seasoned burgers, side dishes and beer.

04/08/2024: Having crossed the border with Switzerland only quite recently, we were ready to take a break and enjoy the first Italian meal of our summer vacation. Purely by chance, we chose this place. We parked for free in the car park in front of the restaurant at ca. 18:30 and went in to check whether they had space for the 4 of us including out two dogs. Yes, no problem BUT the kitchen would only open at 19:00. By the way, one waitress spoke some English and was particularly friendly and helpful. Thanks to her. So, after a family discussion, we decided to stay, sit outside & order some drinks hoping that our meal would not be too late in the coming. As it was, we were very happy to see that our ordered food came to our table just after 7 o'clock. That was perfect. Again thank you! I had the octopus salad which was plentiful & delicious. It included some orange slices, raspberries and feta cheese. And all for only 13€. Others had chicken salad, one of the house beefburgers and the kids burger menu. We were all pleased - and full up at the end. In total the bill came to just over 90€. Super!
