We went here on our last night as we just found the reviews. OMG, everything was so tasty, The owner was so nice and thankfully spoke English as our pigeon Italian is wearing thin. Everything had so much flavour. I think the plates at the end speak for themselves. I am not someone who can normally finish a whole meal but it was just too tasty.

I'm quite sure Roby is a wizard! Not only because of his white, waving beard, but because he manages every night to feed twenty guests as a one man show! The food is miraculous, service is on point and the location feels like home. Thanks for enchanting dinners!

If you are staying in Ispra there is no better place to eat. We came here every night and never regretted it. Roby is al by himself, still everything is homemade and he is never stressed out. Truly a legend! The food is great and the menu changes regularly. Everything was really good but the Tagliolini alla crema di tartufo and the pinsa con lardo deserve a special mentioning. They were spectacular! Also don't be shy to try one of the homemade burgers :)

Entering the restaurant by chance, we found the place very friendly, original decoration, warm atmosphere and Roby very welcoming. Above all, we really enjoyed the food, excellent, all for a very reasonable price.

Locanda al Mulino

10/10/2024: Everything at the mill is magical: the location, the people, the light, the nature around, the collaborators. For our most important day we could never have chosen other than this place, and in fact everything was perfect and even better than we imagined. A special thank you to Virgilio and Patrizia who made us feel at home from the first moment and who always had a smile and kind words throughout the preparation period which (as we know!!) puts a strain on us.
