No... it didn't excite me... let's start from the assumption that it's not the Catania granita but a minimum of compactness, it should be there... it looked like a bit of cold coffee at the bottom of the glass with good cream and just as much brioche... maybe it's luck or it's just like that... in short, this is my thought...!

During our visit to Messina we tasted the pignolata at Doddis and it was an unforgettable experience! The dessert, with its double chocolate and lemon icing, was perfect: soft, rich in flavor and very faithful to tradition. If you pass through Messina, a stop at Doddis to try their pignolata is absolutely not to be missed!

We are at the top for pastries and granitas! Mandatory stop for anyone passing through Sicily. I didn't give 5 stars so as not to make him go to his head and to always make him look for the best!

Very nice service who could speak English well. Here we got to know Sicilian granita. Thank you for that! There was even soy and lactose free milk. We didn't try any food, but it looked very appetizing on the display.

04/02/2025: Family-run and traditional pastry shop. Fantastic desserts to look at and to the palate! Travel package for typical cannoli. The coffee served at the counter is excellent.
24/12/2024: Surprising place of delights, all typical Sicilian products elaborated by hand. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.
