The hazelnut gianduia cone was very good and the prices are fair. It is clear that a few precautions would be enough to maintain the tradition and efficiency unchanged. In general, some reviews report quality problems and high prices compared to local competition, with criticisms of brioche not always fresh and small or not up to par granitas, but also appreciation for the quality of some products and the service. No... it didn't excite me... let's start from the assumption that it's not the Catania granita but a minimum of compactness, it should be there... it looked like a bit of cold coffee at the bottom of the glass with good cream and just as much brioche... maybe it's luck or it's just like that... in short, this is my thought...!

During our visit to Messina we tasted the pignolata at Doddis and it was an unforgettable experience! The dessert, with its double chocolate and lemon icing, was perfect: soft, rich in flavor and very faithful to tradition. If you pass through Messina, a stop at Doddis to try their pignolata is absolutely not to be missed!

Very nice service who could speak English well. Here we got to know Sicilian granita. Thank you for that! There was even soy and lactose free milk. We didn't try any food, but it looked very appetizing on the display.
