This restaurant has become famous for its selection of traditional Tuscan dishes rarely found elsewhere in the Empoli Val d'Elsa area. Tripe, lampredotto, and so on are served in a variety of ways, always respecting Tuscan tradition, with the addition of various soups and pappa (a type of pasta). A clear, priced menu is available, and there's also a blackboard where other specials of the day are added daily, also priced. Service is fast and informal, yet always attentive. A full meal costs just €25. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant fills up during peak hours.

A truly positive experience, the best of Tuscan tradition, all served by smiling and friendly young people. The four-piece lampredotto platter was delicious, the Peposo served on a bed of mashed potatoes was delicious, and the cavolo nero soup was delicious.
