Ristrot Guviol In Torino

We went there for dinner on Sunday. Many restaurants in Turin are closed on Sundays, so we managed to find a restaurant that we could make a reservation at, but it was a wonderful restaurant. The foie gras and liver pate appetizer and the Tjarin mussels aglio e were especially delicious. The service was also excellent. For us from Sweden, it was an incredible value for money.

Divine! Simply perfect. A cozy restaurant and delicious food made with love, all homemade. Thanks to the friendly service, excellent, thank you for everything. A jewel in Turin. 5 out of 5 stars.

I went to Guviol on the evening of San Giovanni, and despite the holiday the place was not crowded, which I sincerely appreciated. The atmosphere is intimate, with soft lights and pleasant acoustics that allow you to converse calmly, without having to raise your voice. The elegant but not excessive mise en place, attention to detail. The wine list is very extensive, truly for all tastes and with very interesting labels. A plus that I really appreciated were the off-menu pampering: a glass of welcome wine and a small tasting, really pleasant. The bread? Not good… more! Homemade, very fragrant and with a surprising taste, so much so that it deserves a special mention. Overall a refined but welcoming experience, with attention to the customer and an attention to detail that makes the difference. I will definitely be back. Also well done to the girl who made us love the place, with her precision and sweetness because good service is also important! Thanks guys!

Amazing place! Food beyond expectations and impeccable service (thanks to a friendly waiter the service also becomes fun 😊). Upon arrival, an entrée and a glass of wine are served on the house. We had 2 appetizers (cheek tacos and the white, red and Verdone egg), 2 second courses (deer fillet with cherry reduction) and two desserts. All the dishes were impeccable (with a special mention to the deer because it was out of this world)! When they realized we were celebrating a birthday, they also served us the dessert with the writing "happy birthday" and the candle! A thoughtful and kind gesture!

An address to discover at all costs: excellent cuisine, super friendly service, a really good time

One of the best tasting menus in Turin! Price quality is excellent and the portion sizes are perfect ( not too small or too big) . They have 2 tasting menus - one for 60€ per person and one for 45€ per person. We got the 60€ per person ( 6 courses and 1 dessert ) and it was totally worth it! Absolute must try ! The second time visiting Turin, we tried the regular a la carte menu in 2 and we spent 99€ eur in 2. An highlight is the duck - that besides from being cooked to perfection, had the most delicious sauce and side dish accompanying it . The staff is super attentive and friendly. They have a good selection of national and international wines and distilled spirits. The restaurant is centrally located, only a few minutes from the train station and the main shopping street in the city center. Parking is available on the street.

Exceptional in every way. We really enjoyed all the dishes on the tasting menu (6 courses + dessert). Tasty dishes, very well prepared, presented and explained with great attention by a very friendly and warm person who obviously loves his job. It is simply impossible for us to define what our favorite dish was, we loved everything so much. And then an excellent wine list, for all budgets. We highly recommend it, the address is really beautiful.

Era circa un anno con non tornavo al Ristrot Guviol, provando varie alternative in giro per Torino e provincia. Certamente qui al Guviol non so neanche più quante volte sono venuto a cena e pranzo, tanto che e’ giusto provare alternative perche’ solo il confronto ti dà un termine di paragone. Il tornare in questo posto del cuore e’ stato una nuova esperienza di gusto. Nel tempo ho provato qui la cucina di tre chef diversi orchestrati magnificamente dalla saggia bravura di Domenico il padrone di casa. Una confera. Sì posso dire che qui si mangia veramente bene. I piatti hanno un equilibrio pazzesco tra gusto, acidità, sapidità, croccantezza e persistenza. Il piatti che mi hanno catturato sono “La santa impuntata” dove la capa santa di sposa con le puntarelle…magnifico, e “Sei una mezza seppia” dove le mezze maniche cotte alla perfezione e in quantità’ perfetta ( ne ho basta di questi piatti microscopici, qui le porzioni sono giuste per permetterti di mangiare altro ma non pensare “cavolo ma due in più poteva metterle) si sposano con la seppia in doppia consistenza cotta e cruda..sublime! La mise en Place la definirei “tecnica” sobria ma efficace. E la carta dei vini, per chi come me da un’importanza al vino paritetica a quella dei piatti in un ristorante, e’ perfetta, ci si sposta dalla Francia all’Italia con un’ampia scelta curata sempre dalla maestria di Domenico! Grazie a tutta la squadra del Guviol per la ricerca che fate che rende le serate speciali per i vostri clienti.

Schönes Restaurant in der Altstadt. Kreative Speisekarte. Das Essen war von hervorragender Qualität und hat uns ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr empfehlenswert!
