A place surrounded by nature, which directly overlooks Lake Pistono, intimate and romantic, highly recommended in the summer period, the cicadas will be your background throughout the evening. Good food and helpful and nice staff.

We stayed a month ago with friends. A nice restaurant overlooking the lake. Friendly and helpful staff. As for the food, not bad but quite expensive. With a dessert at 6.50 I expect at least to "faint" from how good it is, but that wasn't the case. Too bad, it's worth the lake view and the space around it

The lake and the view of the Montaldo Dora castle are enchanting. Ideal for a refreshment with excellent beer after a walk around the lake.

The naturalistic stage is beautiful... the place is mediocre... the road to get there is terrible... rather expensive given the minimum rations served... the quality of the starters is good and the service is punctual and flexible!

A true experience in greenery and peace. Exquisite food and exceptional views. Perfect for anyone who wants to indulge in a moment of pure joy. To my immense joy I discovered that dogs are also allowed, on a leash of course. Small tip: booking is the best choice to make the most of the experience.

The location of this place is unique, in front of the lake and close to the castle. Suitable for those who want to rest and sunbathe or for lovers of walks in the woods, there are various routes to go to the lakes, the dancing lands (a gem), the bench etc....

17/08/2024: Modern ice cream shop and very well furnished place. We tried three flavors and two were really enjoyable, one was the Sacher and the other was the pears and chocolate. I liked the cassata flavor a little less. However, it's an excellent ice cream shop! ---- We returned to Abela a few months later and after trying their amazing granitas I'm adding a star to the review. Their ice cream is 4 stars but the granita is 6! I tasted 4 flavors and all four surprised me. Coffee, ricotta with pistachio, black mulberry and fig! Truly exceptional consistency, certainly the best granita I have tasted to date. It's difficult to find such a wide choice of flavors around. Another positive note is the cream, which is also crazy.
