Ristotram In Roma

A unique, original, and enjoyable experience. Worth the price for a surprise gift, much appreciated!

The Ristotram is an experience well worth the effort. The tram is beautifully designed both inside and out, and the seats are comfortable. It arrived promptly in the square, and after seating us, we were immediately served a small appetizer accompanied by prosecco. We didn't leave immediately, but the food began arriving anyway. After about half an hour, the tram began its tour, along with live music, which accompanied us throughout the ride. The music was pleasant and well-chosen, although I would have lowered the volume slightly to allow for more comfortable conversation at the table. The staff was extremely courteous and always attentive to our requests, especially considering that my wife is celiac. This wasn't a problem, as I had mentioned it when booking as indicated on the website. Water is poured by the staff, like wine, but when requested, it was always done promptly, probably also to avoid waste, which is understandable. The small portion of pasta and beans was exceptional: it's one of those dishes that seems simple, but precisely because of this, is difficult to make memorable. My wife was served without pasta, given her celiac disease; personally, I would have added some gluten-free croutons to give the dish a little something extra without overcomplicating the kitchen. The cacio e pepe risotto was very good. The pork loin, cooked at a low temperature, wasn't bad, but its texture might not be to everyone's taste: I would have preferred a braised version, which makes the meat more tender and palatable. The mashed potatoes, however, were excellent. Revisited tiramisu with pandoro and cream: a creative idea and a truly excellent cream. Coffee and limoncello were served afterwards. The tour also included a stop at the Galleria d'Arte Moderna, near Villa Borghese, allowing those who wanted to get off for a smoke. The tour ended at 11:30 PM, as scheduled. The tram driver was also very friendly. Overall, a truly successful evening and an experience definitely worthwhile. The price isn't cheap, but it's justified by the overall setting and service.

I just returned from a team meeting with over 30 people in Rome, where we booked the RistoTram, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience! The atmosphere was simply perfect, the food was a true culinary journey through Roman tradition, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. But the real star of the show was Marco, the chef, an exceptional person who demonstrated incredible availability and patience. He accommodated all our requests and last-minute changes. In short, a 5-star experience! If you're looking for a place for an event or simply a dinner with friends, this is the perfect choice!

We were on the Ristotram for my dad's 80th birthday in June 2025 - we had a great time - everything was excellent from the chef to the service to the music - well done

I enjoyed the experience itself... the food was good, the live music was lovely, the tram was beautiful... but, sadly, I have to say the route was rather disappointing. The website promised to show you the Colosseum, Opium Hill, and take you past the Aventine Hill, Ostiense Hill, and the Pyramid of Cestius... alas, we left at 9:00 PM, circled Piazza Porta Maggiore twice, then passed Piazza Vittorio twice, Via Cavour, and Termini Station... then continued along Viale Regina Margherita, past the Polyclinic, then Viale Liegi, Valle Giulia, a 45-minute stop in front of the Museum of Fine Arts, and then headed back... the tour ended at 11:00 PM, half an hour early. In short, the areas we passed through weren't exactly beautiful... the website promised a stop in front of the Colosseum with a guided tour included in the price. Don't expect anything other than the diversion of dining on the tram with live music.

Great experience, Marco was always very present and available for any request. The tram was very clean and beautiful. Excellent service and food. The music was never excessive or heavy, but rather very pleasant and engaging. Rome is Rome. Definitely worth doing again.

Beautiful experience and professional as well as very kind staff 🔝 for my partner's birthday, unbeknownst to us, with the final dessert we received the candle and the "happy birthday" from the entire train accompanied by the beautiful voice of the singer who accompanied us throughout the evening... EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS EXPERIENCE.!!! Thanks again 🙏

Wonderful evening! The experience of dining on a historic tram, in the beautiful city of Rome... It was wonderful. The food was delicious! We also tried the children's menu... which we loved! And as we know, it's not easy with children. Impeccable service from all the staff. Friendly, helpful, and very friendly. The live music accompanied and entertained us, never bothering us. Highly recommended in every way! Congratulations
