We had dinner here one evening on vacation. The setting is lovely, outdoors. We had to wait about fifteen minutes for a table because we arrived at peak hour and reservations weren't possible. Traditional cuisine with local flavors, with various vegetarian and vegan options. There are hammocks and cats.

I really liked this place, I liked the thought process behind it. The place is clean, the food is good, and the price is fair, a bit like the Slow Food philosophy. Regarding the price, it might seem high, but you really need to understand the ingredients behind them. If they produce it themselves, it's organic and therefore costs a little more; if they buy it, it's top-quality. In any case, at the breakfasts I had, the cake portions were more than generous and excellent. The service is very kind and friendly. Giada is at the campsite reception, and besides being very nice, she's also genuinely kind and available to provide all the necessary information. I should add that they sell their own produce, make excellent sourdough bread of various types, and excellent focaccia with various vegetables. They also make ice cream. Plus, the atmosphere is relaxing under a grape pergola. The care and attention to detail is evident in the flowers on the tables. Truly talented. I used to take spa treatments in San Giovanni (Portoferraio) and sometimes went for breakfast at Orti di Mare, which wasn't close by but was nice. It's a place worth visiting. Thanks.

A magnificent place, very beautiful and relaxing, with plenty of tables and an extensive menu. Fresh, delicious, local ingredients are overpriced for what you get, but at least you leave feeling very full.

Great vegan food in a great atmosphere and pretty cheap for what you get.

The place is nice, a spacious, well-maintained courtyard with wooden benches and tables. But everything needs to be put into perspective, because in an instant, after paying the bill, the nice place turns into a radical chic place with outrageous prices. Yes, because paying €2.50 for a hard-boiled egg that was handed to me from behind the counter, I call it exaggeration. €2.50 for an egg, are you kidding me?!? The entire lunch, which amounts to two crostoni (two slices of bread with a slice of scamorza), two mixed cups of ice cream, an egg, and sparkling water, came to €43.30. This isn't about not appreciating authenticity, but I still ate a slice of bread and an ice cream and drank water while sitting on wooden benches in a courtyard overlooking a street, and where they order it, I have to go and get it myself. I paid as if I'd eaten two seafood starters at a seaside restaurant, drinking two glasses of white wine! I'm willing to appreciate the authenticity, but I can't help but give real value to what I'm eating. Bread is still bread, and a hard-boiled egg is still an egg! If I'd known I'd pay €43.30 for what I ate, I never would have gone. All I have to do is point this out to the reader so they can evaluate it.

I've been to Elba five times now, and this place is always worth a visit. Absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend the cinnamon ice cream, ricotta and canella.
