Excellent refreshment point at the start of the Pian di Gembro loop. Excellent, high-quality food, from appetizers to desserts, which can also be enjoyed as a snack. Four stars for the long wait at peak times. Reservations recommended ;-)

Fixed stop after a trek to the Gembro plains. Fast service, typical Valtellina dishes, and other specialties. Possibility of a deckchair to relax in the sun in good weather.

06/09/2025: The rooms are small but nice. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is located across from the train station, right on the market square with plenty of dining options. Breakfast was good.
04/09/2025: Its a very clean and cozy hotel across the square from the Tirano station. Restaurant was also quite satisfactory. Lot of other food options right out of the door. Will recommend
