Tonight, at the last minute, we decided to watch the sunset on the beach and get pizzas at the Viola bar. Unfortunately, due to the uncertain weather, they didn't make the pizzas, especially since we didn't order them in advance. However, they offered us pizza tongs instead, so we decided to try them. They were delicious, crispy, and flavorful. Our late-summer evening then took an unexpectedly positive turn: after setting the table on the beach, the setting sun came out, as if we hadn't planned the scene for our special dinner!

This restaurant is located in the pine forest of Marina di Alberese, just a few meters from the sea. They serve truly delicious artisanal products, made with high-quality ingredients sourced mostly from the Maremma area. We chose this place for their gluten-free options (they are certified by the Italian Celiac Association, and the owners are celiac sufferers), and we were not disappointed. One of the two trucks sells all gluten-free products (just be careful, as they also carry gluten-containing brioches and donuts (which are separated from the rest under lids marked with the presence of gluten to avoid cross-contamination). For breakfast, there are various pastries/cakes made in their dedicated laboratory; the Frangipane and Chocolate Brownies are very good (our little celiac loved them). For lunch and dinner, you can choose from a variety of sandwiches (only the GF burger needs to be ordered in the morning). The gluten-free bread they make is one of the best I've ever tasted. The pizza on the beach at sunset (also gluten-free) is a great idea; just order it in the morning, choose a delivery time, and they'll bring it right to you overlooking the sea. For older kids, the coffee is really good and they have a variety of gluten-free craft beers. The service is prompt and very friendly.

Two food trucks nestled in the Maremma Park at the entrance to Marina di Alberese beach. This AIC-certified business is run by the Italian Celiac Association (AIC), and the owners are celiac sufferers. They offer sandwiches, desserts, and pizzas, all made with homemade dough, both gluten-free and gluten-free. They also offer fruit salads, granitas, classic snacks, ice cream, and cold drinks. The gluten-free dough is delicious. We ordered cakes, sandwiches, and the gluten-free pizza al tramonto for our celiac daughter, and it was all delicious. Besides the joy of finding gluten-free food in an unusual location, there's the satisfaction of eating truly well. You can taste the fresh, quality ingredients. The coffee is excellent. For adults, there are delicious craft beers, both gluten-free and gluten-free. Gluten-free and gluten-free burgers are available for lunch in the morning. One of the trucks is dedicated to gluten-free products, but you should always check carefully and ask, as there are gluten-containing brioches and donuts in closed baking pans, separated from the rest. There is no surcharge for gluten-free dishes. The staff is kind and attentive.
