Whenever we can and pass through the hills, we always try to book and have lunch here. The spit-roasted meat is delicious, and the dishes are all traditional, including the side dishes. A great place for families and groups of friends. I highly recommend it.

Since the skewer was from the day before, I opted for tripe, the best I've ever eaten, followed by an excellent pan-fried rabbit, all paired with a good Montello red wine. An excellent lunch.

After a lovely walk with Veneto Segreto, two friends and I went for lunch on Sunday, March 8th.
Parking is a bit limited, but we managed to find a spot.
It was full, but we had reserved spots because we had made a reservation.
We were warmly welcomed by the waiters, who went out of their way to bring our dishes to the tables.
We ordered four appetizers of cold cuts with spring onions and radicchio.
Then two skewers, one rabbit and one guinea fowl, and polenta. Delicious dishes, cooked to perfection. Sides included baked potatoes and raw vegetables.
For dessert, an assorted plate of sweets.
A bottle of wine and sparkling water. Coffee.
Limoncello and licorice were offered.
Quick service.
Total €140
A positive experience, worth repeating.

Arriving at Ristoro Fontanazze in the winter, when it's cold, and finding a warm atmosphere inside is a wonderful feeling. I recommend having the owner Franco prepare an excellent spedo, a local specialty. It's best to book to be sure you get to taste it. I also recommend the radicchio.

Good price and average quality, without any peaks. Overall, it was fair, €30 for an appetizer, first course, second course, and wine. The wait to order was long, and the blonde waitress with glasses wasn't exactly the friendliest.
The house red wine was rather low-quality (and I don't have high expectations for that), and the skewer a friend ordered was clearly reheated from the day before. The pasta with ragù wasn't exceptional, but the guinea fowl was excellent.
In short, nothing special, but still in line with the price and without any disastrous "disappointments." Is there anything better in the area? Probably.
