We arrived for lunch, tempted by the beautiful menu displayed. I ordered the Montanaro dish: Pastin, cooked cheese, polenta, and mushrooms. A generous portion, everything was delicious. Prices are average for mountain huts along the slopes. If you want a nice big plate with a view of the Civetta, this is the place to go!

Reaching the cabin after a hike, we first had an aperitif and then stopped for lunch, which we had booked on the website a few days earlier. Everything was delicious; I think I had the best bigoli in salsa of my life, but the rest of the dishes were also very good. Despite being nestled among the peaks, it still has an almost bacaro-like atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

After a lovely walk in the snow, we arrived at the Rifugio Casot in Pecol di Zoldo, a truly picturesque and peaceful location. We had potatoes and sausages, a plate of spare ribs, and two cabbages: simple, warm, and delicious dishes, perfect after the cold. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing, ideal for a break surrounded by nature. Prices are in line with many mountain refuges. Overall, a pleasant stop.

Il Casot is always a guarantee: passion, warmth, simplicity, and a lot of quality in the utmost simplicity. Top-notch shank, creamed cod at the highest level. Mirco is a friend and a guarantee. 16/02/2026: The rooms were spacious and clean. The friendliness and service were impeccable. Breakfast was also excellent (I only suggest making plant-based milk available; they would certainly have provided it if I had asked. I think it's an essential breakfast beverage these days).

03/08/2025: An Absolute Gem – Fresh, Scenic, and Unforgettable! This restaurant is truly a hidden treasure. The views alone are worth the visit. Everything is made with the freshest ingredients, and their homemade cheeses are simply divine, especially the creamy goat cheese made right there on the farm from their own goats. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, made even better by the incredible staff. They were beyond accommodating, going out of their way to cater to our group’s needs and making sure every allergy was handled with care. No request was too big or small. They genuinely wanted us to have the perfect experience. Being on the farm surrounded by animals made it all the more magical. It’s not just a meal here, it’s an experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something truly special.
