Ci siamo fermati per puro caso. Malgrado l'aspetto un po' spartano abbiamo trovato una grande cortesia, piatti ben fatti, ottima birra. Dopo aver pagato il titolare ci ha anche offerto delle ottime pesche. Una cortesia inattesa e molto apprezzata.

Sehr sehr angenehm. Hat mit einem Imbiss wenig... Viel besser. Habe keine Lust mehr zu schreiben auch wenn man das angeblich muss. ;)

The food is what you would expect in a snack bar: honestly delicious, no frills. We'd love to come back any time! Seating inside and outside. Service is great. Payment by card possible. Free parking spaces directly in front.

A small restaurant, on the side of the road, you must stop. The food is great, served very quickly, and the staff is very friendly (also speak English, which is appreciated). We enjoyed the salad so much, we ordered another one. The sausage with mashed potatoes was also very yummy. They have a restroom in the back. Seating is inside or outside (though on the side of the road).

11/08/2024: For a coffee with a fantastic view of the lake.
05/08/2024: We had a very nice stay. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The public areas and the wellness area have been renovated to a very nice and high quality. The rooms are a bit old, but still very well maintained and spacious. The lake view rooms have a wonderful view. You hardly notice the street above the hotel here. It's a very quiet hotel. The food is very good and plentiful and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I deduct one star for the towels. The towels are very thin, small and rather hard. I would have liked towels in the wellness area. You could only get fresh towels and bathrobes at the reception for a fee. I would still recommend the hotel. I think it's a very good price-performance ratio. Thank you very much and good luck ;)

27/08/2024: I discovered Osteria Da Checco my first night in The Dolomites and was I ever happy because it became my go to place. The food is amazing, the restaurant itself has an incredible view. And best of all the staff are welcoming and friendly. Their main concern is that you are happy and well served. I ate many dishes on the menu, the beef tartare, the rib steak, the octopus salad, Checco’s spareribs (a must), and the veal wiener schnitzel. Everything dish is superb. They also have an incredible wine list. And their olive oil is so good you’ll want to drink it. If you’re in Ortisei this place is a must. A special thank you to everyone that took care of me.
26/08/2024: Beautiful environment. The owner is kind, but not so the girls serving. Never a hint of a smile. Very dry in their ways. Microfiltered water at 5 euros is an exaggerated price. The price of all dishes is supported. Then for heaven's sake... you are in Ortisei...
