I've been wanting to go there for a while, and I finally had the pleasure of trying their excellent cuisine!! I never had a bad dish, and the prices are competitive (though since there's no menu, I only discovered that afterward, when I paid the bill). My only complaint was the service: the staff were a bit distracted and forgetful, probably due to tiredness and stress... I also met Diego, the owner, a hard worker and a very kind person!! If you love stockfish and cod, Zoppicone is a must. I'll be back as soon as I can!

What can I say? It's been a while, but the staff issues persist.
I've never had a waiter (Francesco, I think his name was) be so INCAPABLE as to be unable to list the menu, tell us we can't have spaghetti with clams, and have us order other things...
when shortly thereafter, they arrive at the next table!! Are you kidding me?
The owner, Diego, is a wonderful person, and he doesn't deserve these useless staff who can't even offer mineral water! At this point, it's best to print the menus and partially solve the problem...
Dear waiter (if I can call you that), you ruined our dinner!!....THANK YOU...
(Given the bad evening, I would have expected the owner to be more considerate, but perhaps he missed it.)

I'll start by saying that the food was really really good 😋, the service was average for the target (but absolutely good), the bill was fair.
Two small observations:
1) on the receipt, duly issued, you can't charge me €9.00 with the wording "MISCELLANEOUS" 🤔 which, to date, I can only assume what it is, by exclusion, based on the other items present.
2) the lack of a paper menu, mandatory since 2000, based on a specific legislative decree (...); but the obligation is "allowed"... I want and need to know what the restaurant offers, how much each individual dish costs and, above all, whether the product is or could be frozen at the source and, no less important, THE LIST OF ALLERGENS.
I am a former restaurateur and I continue to gravitate towards the immense and complicated world of FOOD & BEVERAGE.
Clarifications aside, we ate like a god 😍🤤😋 and, repetita iuvant, my account is normal 👍🏻!

I went for lunch today, nothing to say about the food, perfect, fresh, good, crunchy, tasty. But..... we arrived at 2pm, 10 people, we certainly ate very well: appetizers, first courses, second courses, but everything one after the other, without a break......at 4pm they started to make us understand that we had to leave....there was no fruit, they didn't even ask us if we wanted dessert....everything too rushed. They started to clear the other tables....For goodness sake, the food was excellent....but....give us time to eat and digest.....I definitely won't go back

We were here for the second time and they once again delighted us with excellently cooked dishes. Simple, clean and well-kept environment. Courteous and fast service. Dishes mainly based on stockfish and cod, cooked in different ways. Prices more than good for the quality and care in cooking they offer, everything was good. The pastiera with Vesuvius apricots is superb! Don't expect a chic or luxurious restaurant, here you will only find excellent food!
I used the bathroom and found excellent cleanliness and hygiene.
I recommend booking at least 1 or 2 days in advance. There is no real parking but the area allows you to leave your car in the immediate vicinity on the street.

Good typical food from the area. Cod is the reason why we chose it and it deserves in all the versions presented.
Fast and punctual service. Characteristic environment, it deserves updating but it is in line with the idea of an inn/tavern we were looking for.
