Hands down, the best restaurant in Agropoli.

This place has a beautiful and relaxing view. The older gentleman who works there is a bit unpleasant, but the guy who seems to be in charge is very professional and friendly. I tried the fried food and it left me speechless... in an absolutely negative way... (raw calamari) in other places you pay less and it's definitely better. If they want to keep prices like this, then they should improve the quality of the products... otherwise, if I only pay for the view, I'll just enjoy it with a glass of water.

We went to this fantastic restaurant in Agropoli, just steps from the Castle. In the summer, the location is fantastic. You can dine on a fabulous terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast and the sea. The food is very good. I highly recommend the stuffed anchovies. Seafood cuisine.

A few steps from the port of Agropoli, Zio Tata is one of those places where you immediately feel the connection with the land and the sea. The cuisine is simple, sincere, made with products from Cilento and a lot of respect for the raw material. I started with some zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta mousse, fried to perfection, crunchy but not at all greasy. Then the paccheri with seafood with a tasty and fresh sauce, where each ingredient finds its place. To finish, a fresh grilled fish served with simplicity to let the flavor of the sea speak. The staff is kind and attentive, never intrusive. They explain each dish to you and, if you want, they also passionately tell you a bit of the history of the place - and this is exactly what makes the experience even more special. The atmosphere is relaxed, familiar, with that authentic touch that makes you want to come back.

The restaurant is located in the historic center of Agropoli, in a fantastic position between the Aragonese castle and a wonderful sea view. We had dinner accompanied by an amazing sunset. The owners were very kind and courteous. A location that will remain in my heart ❤️

A delicious discovery in Agropoli! We had dinner at Zio Tata during a vacation in Agropoli and we were really excited! The place has a cozy and familiar atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing evening. The staff is kind, helpful and always smiling — they made us feel at home right away. The menu offers dishes with attention to detail, with fresh and local ingredients. We tried a dish of very fresh fish: everything was really excellent. The homemade desserts are also a treat not to be missed. We will definitely return on our next visit to Agropoli. Highly recommended!

Amazing restaurant, we had no booking but they kindly seated us. Excellent service, food and wine. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Welcomed without having booked by the owner who made us sit inside, exceptional dishes, presented in an excellent way, a truly remarkable dinner. In the end I was pleasantly surprised by the owner who shook my hand and said it was a pleasure to have you for dinner with us, I can only reciprocate. Thank you

Location stupenda, di fianco al castello e con una vista mare bellissima. Menù di mare molto interessante, davvero ottimi i primi. Buona la cantina dei vini, in particolare quelli cilentani. Prezzi abbastanza alti ma qualità indubbia. Forse (come letto in altre recensioni), porzioni leggermente minimali. Merita sicuramente una visita!

Tutto ottimo. Location con vista mozzafiato. Materie prime di ottima qualità. Ambiente sobrio ed elegante. Le porzioni sono un pò piccole, questo il perché delle 4 palle e non delle 5.
