Ristorante Zi’Ntonio In Sorrento

So lucky to find this place, so many places to eat but not so many in January, but this place was open so went in out of the rain. Authentic Italian food, mature, expert and friendly waiting staff, decor that speaks of history (maybe not so much the fresco of Diego Maradona and ‘friends’ at the last supper). We were only in Sorrento for 3 nights and we spent 2 or them here (they were closed one night!). Don’t miss it!

Excellent food, attentive service.

I was recommended this establishment by a Sorrento local on my first day of a 3 day visit. The service was by far the very best I've experienced during my month long tour of Italy. The food the first day, was above average compared to the fare I've experienced during my travels. After I had ordered the Catalonia, I noticed a stewed octopus dish ordered by someone at the next table. After enjoying my dinner, along with a truly wonderful tiramisu, I decided I needed to come back and try the octopuss dish. I made reservations for the next evening. Upon returning the next evening I was warmly greeted by a number of the staff and escorted to my table. I ordered the octopus dish. It was honestly the tastiest dish I'd eaten in Italy to that point. The depth of flavour and freshness was so enjoyable. I should mention that the bread served was some of the best I'd eaten in my life and was perfect for soaking up the broth from the dish. This was much appreciated as I'm much to old to be caught licking the bowl. For dessert I had the cheese cake with fresh wild strawberries. No surprise at this point, it was very tasty. I returned once more before I left the area and by that point I swear every server recognized me, welcomed me and shook my hand. Fantastic place!

Wonderful option. Delicious food, very good service and at a good price. €77 for 2 people with a bottle of wine and pasta with lobster + pizza. I recommend it without a doubt

Good food but not out of the ordinary and pricy. Very dissapointed with the service, the waiters had a rude attitude, arrogant and the one who served us literally scratched his balls before asking us how was the food😵‍💫 never ever has this happened to me in a restaurant. Also noted the same waiter was nicer to locals then was to us to the point he was mocking us with other colleagues. Would not reccomend.

We stopped for lunch to celebrate an occasion. The staff welcomed us with courtesy and made us sit at a booked table, in a very welcoming environment. The menu was varied, but I was surprised by the excellent quality of the dishes offered. I will definitely go back because I am satisfied with the quality-price ratio.

Definitely a recommended stop in Sorrento. Elegant and welcoming place. Well-arranged tables and enough space for both couples and small groups. The staff is friendly and helpful, fast and efficient service! The food is certainly of quality. Excellent quality/price ratio although with a higher mid-range than some other places in the area. Even for those who choose pizza, quality is guaranteed. All in all to choose from!

Good food, snooty service. 1/2 empty restaurant on a Monday in the offseason, and the staff were super rigid.
