Zaytuna is one of those places that stays in your heart. Our journey through Tunisian flavors began with a sumptuous appetizer, a veritable array of traditional dishes: intense aromas, balanced spices, dishes prepared with care and authenticity. Each bite told a story, and the quality of the ingredients was evident.
The seafood couscous was a masterpiece: authentic, harmonious flavors, perfectly balanced between seafood and spices. A dish that captivates without ever being heavy, prepared with expert skill and sensitivity.
What made the experience even more special was the owner, a friendly, affable, and passionate chef, who manages to convey his love for his cuisine in every gesture. The rest of the family provides impeccable support: kind, attentive, and present without being intrusive. A welcome that many customers highlight as one of the restaurant's strengths.
A restaurant where you eat excellently, feel at home, and enjoy an authentic Tunisian experience.
Highly recommended. We'll be happy to come back. 🙏❤️

Nice small restaurant off the market area and touristy route. Once I say down inside I saw it is in a moorish decor, but the menu is classic Italian and the food is delicious. Good attentive, personal service and very reasonable prices. They were out of the spaghetti Nero but I enjoyed my spaghetti vongole very much!

A family-run restaurant in a quiet, less touristy area. We happened to be passing by on a Monday evening and it was open, even though the hours listed on Google indicated otherwise. The owner is friendly and runs the kitchen single-handedly. We ordered meat couscous and chicken tagine. The couscous was served with its meat broth and the meat was very tender. The fries served with the tagine were a bit of an oddity. The prices are average. You have to put up with the noise of the TV in one ear and the owner's phone in the other :-)

We stumbled into this place by chance and haven't eaten as well anywhere else in Palermo! Super friendly service and delicious food. The chakchuka and couscous with fish are absolute must-haves!

A very friendly and authentic restaurant, a culinary and sensory journey to Tunisia. The atmosphere and aromas made us feel like we were at a Tunisian family's home, not a restaurant! The very kind and welcoming chef prepares and manages everything himself. The dishes were prepared with so much love and flavor; it truly leaves a lasting impression. We'd go back a thousand times! An unforgettable experience in Palermo! Thank you again to the Chef!
