One of the few places with exceptional value for money, the food is good. Highly recommended, freshly made entrees. Only "happiness" can't be photographed, but I assure you it made a splash in my day today.

I went here with my colleague...what can I say...delicious lemon scallops and excellent parmigiana...the atmosphere is bright and clean...the service is kind and fast...I highly recommend it! I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.

Complimenti ottimo cibo,tutto fresco ben condito,frittura di pesce croccante.In sala camerieri molto professionali,per desidera gustare dell'ottimo cibo,dove non si aspetta molto,vi consiglio questo piccolo ma ottimo ristorante.Un saluto ed arrivederci da Emanuele alla prossima.

I've been going there for almost a year when I'm in Bari and I must say that it has never missed a beat, especially when it comes to fish dishes. Only once, in my opinion, did it screw up and it was on the schnitzel, but it is very normal that it could happen to anyone, after all, let's leave the schnitzel to their inventors, the Milanese. The quality/price ratio is unbeatable. Applause.

18/06/2025: The service was unparalleled. They explained the dishes to us, even with photos, recommended an excellent Puglia wine, and the food was spectacular...just let yourself go...
21/05/2025: A fantastic place to spend a wonderful evening in company and in a pleasant environment. 7 years in which this place never disappoints. With quality and local products, extraordinary attention to the dishes served and the cuts of meat. Excellent and above all fast service (even though we went on a Saturday, we were served immediately and the waiters were always available for everything) and a super kind owner. A place that never misses a beat, always frequented and that I will continue to frequent to spend a few hours of carefree and good food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)

05/10/2025: Delicious pizza! We got takeout late at night. The guys made it even though they were almost closing. It's clear this is a place with tradition and customer service. Thank you.
02/10/2025: The best pizza in Bari! Although it doesn't have all the glamorous atmosphere of a restaurant, eating a delicious Capricciosa on the wall surrounding the nearby square is one of my fondest memories from the trip (there are also tables available outside the pizzeria). The very friendly service and authentic Italian atmosphere of this place make it, in my opinion, a cut above the typical restaurants. Best regards, and I heartily recommend Il Veliero to everyone.
