We had a wonderful week at Waldhof 2! I would especially like to highlight: - the friendly and attentive morning, lunch, and dinner service (special thanks to Jana and Leonard) - the competent and accommodating reception staff - the incredibly attentive spa team (especially thank you to Alessia and Martin) - the shuttle service to and from the train station provided by Walter We found the entire team to be so empathetic and attentive, with a great sensitivity to guests with special needs. Thank you for making our stay such a relaxing highlight of our year.

I had a wonderful day spa experience at this property near my home, a charming, classic hotel. The highlight is definitely the panoramic pool with a beautiful view of the castle, flanked by a lawn perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. The relaxation areas are also welcoming and offer a splendid view of the forest. The saunas are useful and very pleasant, and I really appreciated the convenience of the pool, which is open from 8:30 a.m. I also enjoyed using the fitness room, which was truly wonderful. The machines are new, clean, and very easy to use, even for me, a beginner. Considering the very friendly staff and the excellent price, I highly recommend this property.

We felt very comfortable in our room and enjoyed the wonderful view. The room service was very friendly and everything was clean. The bathroom has a classic style, is well-maintained, and functional. There was plenty of storage space and room in the room. The spa area was very large and cozy, with wonderful views from the relaxation rooms, numerous swimming pools, and saunas. The staff there were also very friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The food was fantastic. There was a wide selection, and we were more than satisfied with the delicious and varied breakfast, the light lunch, the beautifully prepared cake in the afternoon, and the five- or six-course dinner. We would love to come back; it was a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay for our sapphire wedding. The hotel is surrounded by nature, with a splendid pool overlooking the castle. Service +++++, thanks to Domenico. He knows why 😉 I recommend this hotel.

I just enjoyed a wonderful massage with Anna Sophia at the Edelstein SPA of the Waldhof - a true treat!

A very nice hotel in a great setting. The room was clean, bright, and spacious, the pool area was fantastic, and the dinner was absolutely top-notch. Breakfast also left nothing to be desired. A small forest with an adjacent pond is perfect for a short walk.

We stayed at the Waldhof at the beginning of the season at the end of March, and it was a truly perfect and relaxing stay. You can tell the hotel is family-run – in the best possible way. Everything is thoughtfully designed, personal, and shows great attention to detail. We had a very spacious, modern room in the "old" part of the hotel. There's also a new extension with modern wooden architecture. We stayed for five days and booked a package including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner (a six-course meal), and every single one of these meals was a delight. Light (okay, maybe not the afternoon tea, as a general rule :-)), fresh, and varied. In addition, the service was very friendly and welcoming in all areas, and there was a fantastic pool area with a breathtaking view. The hotel is located above Lana. If the bike ride up the hill is too strenuous (we North Germans are only used to dikes) and you still want to leave the car behind, you can take the bus, which stops right at the hotel. You can also take a hike from the hotel or the village of Völlan, such as the educational chestnut adventure trail or the hike to the St. Hippolyt chapel.

The food, rooms, and service are great. Really good places to sit.
