Ristorante Villa Sermolli In Buggiano

Villa Sermolli is stunning and historic, definitely recommended! Be aware that there are a lot of mosquitoes there, so you should be prepared with mosquito repellent. During our visit, about half of the grounds were closed off for a wedding from midday onward, and loud music was playing until 12:30 a.m. I understand that weddings are held there—it's a beautiful place for that, after all. As a paying guest, however, I would have expected some kind of compensation for the restrictions and nighttime noise disturbance, but that didn't happen.

The place may be old, but that makes the atmosphere all the better! It feels like something out of a movie, simply dreamy!

Hotel with a beautiful ambiance - The rooms have retained their charm and have been modernized with air conditioning and bathrooms. The hotel's restaurant serves local specialties for everyone, and the cuisine deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff is very attentive and always friendly - we would gladly return.

Great hotel with large rooms and apartments. It's located a bit high up, and the climb is quite steep. However, you get a great view and peace and quiet. We had a junior suite with a private garden and whirlpool. It was fantastic, and we would book the same one again.

Perfect for exploring the area. And thanks to the location, the heat is bearable. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. The entire staff is very friendly and always helpful. The attached restaurant is also really good. I've eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. Due to the location, there are many stairs.

Villa Sermolli - a wonderful, magnificent location! We couldn't have celebrated our engagement in a better place or in a more beautiful setting, and we'll definitely be back again. We partially organized the event: However, the hotel manager, Elena, supported us perfectly in every respect and answered all our questions, big and small, with endless patience – thank you again! The villa has simply wonderful rooms in a historic Tuscan style, full of frescoes, which exceeded our expectations and those of all our guests. The beds are not only beautiful, but above all very comfortable: We slept much better at Villa Sermolli than we did a few days later on our journey home to Lake Garda. The bathrooms in the rooms are also fantastic: classically elegant yet modern. Since the villa is located on top of the hill of Buggiano Castello, almost every room offers a stunning view of the beautiful surrounding countryside (towards Montecatini Terme and, on a clear day, as far as Lucca or Empoli). All in all, we can only say thank you, as our guests have said: There was a life before our event at your villa – and there will be one after. You made our experience unforgettable. Thank you so much for everything to the entire team, to Marino, Gabriele, and the kitchen and service teams!

We went here for dinner at the restaurant in the evening – beautiful view and a great atmosphere! The food was good, and everyone enjoyed it. Maybe not Michelin-starred, but absolutely OK. It has charm, and you're paying primarily for the wonderful ambiance on the roof terrace. We'd gladly go back.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic setting, with great service. This is a place I would definitely consider returning to.
