Nice and quiet place with great restorant, nice view and really good staff.

Villa Sermolli has incredible charm. Built on a hillside, it features numerous stairs and corners inside, making it a real adventure to get from point A to point B. Stunning views, stunning ceiling paintings, an old cooking area with an open fireplace, an old bread oven... to name just a few highlights. The breakfast was delicious, and when the temperature permits, there's a lovely garden for breakfast outdoors. Our room was very spacious, and the bathroom was also larger than average. Everyone was very nice, and we received a very warm welcome. Thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend here.

A Tuscan dream – with charm, views, and great food My wife, our 4-month-old baby, and I are currently staying at Villa Sermolli and are thrilled. The location in the romantic Buggiano Castello is unique: from the terrace and many of the rooms, you can enjoy a stunning view of the Tuscan hills – simply unforgettable, especially at sunset. The villa has been lovingly restored and is steeped in history. Our room is spacious, quiet, and very comfortable – ideal even with a baby. The garden with its panoramic views and the well-kept pool area invite you to enjoy and relax. A very special highlight is the food: Whether breakfast or dinner – every meal was a culinary experience. Fresh, regional ingredients, skillfully prepared, and beautifully presented. The cuisine combines Tuscan tradition with creative lightness. A true delight – every day. The staff – both in the hotel and in the restaurant – are warm, attentive, and very helpful. Especially with a baby, we always received friendly and uncomplicated support. One caveat: It's not easy to get there with a stroller, as the building is historic and there's no elevator – but it's manageable with a little caution. The bottom line: One thing's already clear – Villa Sermolli is a place you'll want to return to. If you're looking for Tuscan flair, stunning views, and excellent food, this is the place to be.

Villa Sermolli is stunning and historic, definitely recommended! Be aware that there are a lot of mosquitoes there, so you should be prepared with mosquito repellent. During our visit, about half of the grounds were closed off for a wedding from midday onward, and loud music was playing until 12:30 a.m. I understand that weddings are held there—it's a beautiful place for that, after all. As a paying guest, however, I would have expected some kind of compensation for the restrictions and nighttime noise disturbance, but that didn't happen.

The place may be old, but that makes the atmosphere all the better! It feels like something out of a movie, simply dreamy!

Hotel with a beautiful ambiance - The rooms have retained their charm and have been modernized with air conditioning and bathrooms. The hotel's restaurant serves local specialties for everyone, and the cuisine deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff is very attentive and always friendly - we would gladly return.

Great hotel with large rooms and apartments. It's located a bit high up, and the climb is quite steep. However, you get a great view and peace and quiet. We had a junior suite with a private garden and whirlpool. It was fantastic, and we would book the same one again.

We had great days and are already looking forward to our stay in 2026
