Highly recommended! We arrived by chance on a Monday after visiting the Sanctuary of Saint Rita in Cascia, and to our surprise, we found a place with plenty of seating (both inside and out). The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. A varied selection of delicious food, served in generous portions. And I recommend saving room for dessert, which isn't mass-produced but rather homemade. The panna cotta is simply amazing...

I've been twice this summer, and both times I had a great time. The first courses are delicious and plentiful, and the set menu is very affordable, but you need to be very hungry. We ate à la carte, ordering an appetizer and a first course. The place is very welcoming, with the scenery as a backdrop. The staff are friendly, and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good food at a very reasonable price.

For me, a restaurant shouldn't just be a place to eat (preferably well), but a place where, in addition to good food, you can find a family-friendly and relaxing atmosphere. If you're looking for a Michelin-starred restaurant, this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for conviviality, hospitality, and good, home-cooked food, as per our tradition, stop by and recharge not only physically but also with the beauty of the surrounding nature, chatting with the staff like old friends.

We visited this place yesterday, where the atmosphere is one of genuineness and authentic flavors. Despite being a large group, we were greeted and served in the best possible way, immediately making us feel at ease and enjoying excellent dishes, from appetizers to dessert. We will definitely return, but I sincerely recommend it to everyone. Thanks to Marco, Alena, and Manuel, who welcomed us with a smile (that's not a given), and to everyone else who made us leave the table truly satisfied. See you next time.

We had dinner here on Saturday evening. The atmosphere is rustic and simple, clean and tidy. A lively and witty woman serves us, and with her practicality, she ensures everyone gets the best and is satisfied. Thank you! Kudos also to Marco, who prepared a fantastic dinner for us with excellent local products. The best dinner in a long time. I highly recommend the gnocchi with wild boar sauce; I've never had such a delicious, delicate, and flavorful dish. Excellent quality, quantity, and price ratio. I highly recommend it!

After visiting Santa Rita, we had lunch at this peaceful spot. The tagliata was delicious, and the ravioli were superb. The truffle bruschetta was exceptional. Highly recommended.

12/07/2025: It was a joy to discover this restaurant! We spent two days at a resort in Umbria where the food was truly awful, but luckily Locanda del Busta was just 10 minutes away. Exceptional! We went two nights in a row and will definitely return when we return to Umbria! The food is excellent, simple, and of the highest quality. The owner is truly polite, and all the staff are absolutely top-notch, kind, and helpful. A special thanks to Mrs. Giovanna, who works there with great passion and professionalism.

05/10/2025: This osteria is a must-try if you're in the Trevi area, but as a Perugian, I'd say it's definitely worth the trip from the surrounding area. The restaurant is small, intimate, and welcoming, furnished with care and good taste; the welcome is friendly, with just the right amount of informality that makes you feel immediately at home. All the dishes, from appetizers to desserts, honor the authentic flavors of Umbrian cuisine, thanks in part to the use of excellent local ingredients (for example, we were lucky enough to visit during the black celery season; it was the first time we'd tried it, and we weren't disappointed at all!) An experience definitely worth repeating. I'm giving it 5 stars only because I can't give more!
04/10/2025: A friend who already knew the place took me there for dinner in October. We tried the crostini, the gricia di bosco, the black celery cannelloni, and the parmigiana... we can't say which dish was better!!! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!
