We were guests of a local colleague for dinner. The stockfish is truly excellent in all sauces, raw Cittanova style, grilled and au gratin. Special mention for the staff and the owner Marisa, very kind, she explained every single dish to us in detail. Another special mention must be made for the cleanliness and hygiene of the place and all the environments. Highly recommended, if you pass through those parts, stop or extend your journey, you won't regret it, it will absolutely be worth it.

It was a great experience. A lunch to remember. The Italian starter was delicious. As a first course we had pasta with crab, cherry tomatoes and courgette flowers. An excellent dish. For the second course we ordered a medium rare cut of beef and a rare one. So good it melts in your mouth. Wide choice of desserts and personally I had a chocolate truffle, which was also excellent. Nothing out of place, everything perfect. Helpful and courteous staff, you can see that they care about the customer and about working well. Paid the right amount. Highly recommended. I would eat there every day.

Avendo ospiti provenienti da New York siamo stati a pranzo e siamo rimasti completamente soddisfatti da questo ristorante .L 'atmosfera è accogliente e il personale è estremamente cordiale e disponibile. Ma il punto di forza del locale è senz’altro la cucina. In questo locale avrete la possibilità di gustare prodotti tipici della tradizione. Sensazionali ! Torneremo sicuramente!

Posto molto carino . Personale gentile e cibo davvero ottimo. Io e il mio compagno siamo stati davvero bene. Abbiamo preso i calamari fritti , i cevapcici, spaghetti zucchine e gamberi e capesante. Tutto speciale. Lo consiglio

Casa Vela Wine Bar

10/12/2024: Scilla is a tiny - though extremely attractive - place. I'd probably given up on finding craft beer and, perhaps, had even resigned myself to any early night (heaven forbid) when I stumbled on this place. Okay, it's a wine bar but beggars can't be choosers and they had a fridge full of tiny cans of craft all from the same brewery and all colourfully illustrated in a cohesive style. It was a duty - but a pleasant one - to work my way through them all! I think we were the last people remaining when they shut down for the day but they said we were welcome to remain (given that we were sitting outside) until we were finished. This is a benefit of drinking cans/bottles I guess but also fairly common, and deeply appreciated, in Europe.
21/10/2024: We had breakfast and aperó here twice. The staff are kind and patient and make great recommendations. Nice selection of wine by the glass.
