Ristorante Vecchio Mulino In Saint-oyen

The taste of traditional trattorias of yesteryear. Very good traditional dishes, excellent service, and reasonable prices. It's the only restaurant we've returned to, despite the distance from our base.

This trattoria is definitely worth a visit. The owner was very welcoming, and the food was simple but fantastic and incredibly filling. We ordered an appetizer, and they brought us some pork legs to start, and we were already almost full. Next up was tagliatelle with fresh truffle and grilled vegetables (I skipped the meat because I didn't fancy it), water, coffee, and liqueurs. We paid very little for the generous portions and delicious food.

After a lovely walk along the water trail, we stopped here. We were immediately greeted with kindness and were super quick to serve us water, wine, and bread. We were so hungry, it was much appreciated! We had pappardella with wild boar (red), the first time I'd ever had it, and I must say it was very good, as were the truffle ravioli. We continued with a grilled lamb and some lamb chops, served with a glass of house red wine. The cheesecake dessert was delicious! We really enjoyed it, the prices are average, and at the end they even offered us a family-made herb liqueur... Guys, I can't say enough about how spectacular it was!! We'll definitely be back!

...food with old-fashioned flavors...kind, friendly, and above all professional service (waiter Emmanuel and the order taking lady were excellent)...enchanting location. For us it was the first time...but certainly the first of many...absolutely worth trying!!!!

Quick, courteous and everything good

Fantastic food and a fantastic experience, with excellent quality and great prices! The staff was welcoming and helpful, ready to offer advice and accommodate our needs (and we had a fairly large table, so there were plenty of needs!).

A beautiful place surrounded by nature, with a pond with carp and geese and a stream, a clearing where you can relax, delicious dishes, and kind and attentive waiters. I ate a lot, and paid a very fair price, and I recommend it wholeheartedly—or rather, with all my heart!

Wonderful location, courteous and friendly staff, simple but effective menu, quality food at affordable prices and impeccable service despite the 16 people at the table and the presence of several other guests.

Nine of us went for lunch and we ate very well! We'll be back.
