My family and I chose this restaurant after it was warmly recommended to us by a lady from Vercelli, as I wanted to eat a good panissa again after many years. We couldn't have gone to a better place, my daughter even wanted to eat 2 plates of it after seeing the panissa. My husband ate some excellent tagliolini with truffles, I some delicious homemade lean ravioli. For the second course we delighted in an excellent Piedmontese mixed fried dish, boiled meat with sauces and veal with tuna sauce, all fantastic and very tasty. The staff is very kind and attentive to the customer's needs, in our case due to a milk intolerance problem. The "fierce" chef is truly exceptional at cooking and very helpful. The service is very fast, but accurate. We will definitely return to this restaurant and recommend it to those who want to eat good typical food.

Sono stato in questo ristorante a pranzo con la mia famiglia durante una gita in giornata a Vercelli. Il posto mi è stato consigliato da un altro viaggiatore in un post dedicato a Vercelli, devo dire che ho fatto bene a seguire il consiglio! Cibo genuino e cucinato bene, servizio veloce e cordiale, buona in particolare la panissa, piatto immancabile durante una visita a Vercelli! Buoni anche i dolci, consiglio la torta tartufata!

La location è bella anche se il Lilla alle pareti mi sembra un colore un po datato. Il servizio e curato e professionale con 2 ragazze molto attente e preparate. X organizzazione interna le comande sono prese solo dalla signora (forse anche titolare) più matura. Ci siamo fatti prendere dal menù degustazione che risulta un po impegnativo. I piatti sono più belli che buoni non apprezzati il vol au vent fonduta arrivato freddo, il riso della panissa per noi era un po passato di cottura. Le carni dei bolliti erano mediamente dure e sono stati praticamente soli assaggiati così come le salse di accompagnamento che non hanno incontrato il nostro gusto. Nei fritti ho apprezzato le cervella e l amaretto. Insomma giudizio sufficiente ma se ricapito a Vercelli vado altrove.

Unfortunately I get to go to this restaurant less than I would like. The menu is always a pleasant discovery, with some staples, such as the Panissa (typical Vercelli risotto). The cellar offers excellent Piedmontese wines. The environment has become refined over time, but always welcoming and pleasant. Impeccable service

It is the restaurant in Vercelli where you can taste the best "Vercelli panissa" as well as a varied and refined menu of typical dishes. There are always dishes for celiacs and there is great attention for those with intolerance problems. Absolutely recommended.

I was looking for a restaurant that did Piedmontese mixed fried food and I was very satisfied. Excellent quality food at the right price. I'll be back to try the other offerings.

19/01/2025: I recently went to this restaurant (I didn't stay overnight, so the review is only for lunch!). The place appears clean, with many waiters available. As for food, ups and downs. - Amuse bouche: please avoid. As a lover of all-round cuisine (from the country trattoria to the starred one), it is better to leave these off-menu dishes to top restaurants. Why not, a slice of cured meat with a small piece of giardiniera cannot be considered an amuse-bouche. Maybe, sometimes nothing is better than little... - Trio of hot appetizers: crunchy sweetbreads and really good capunet (perhaps it was the best capunet I have ever eaten), the snails which tasted of little were truly disappointing. - Panissa: I understand that they put cheese in it, which is strictly forbidden in the Vercelli tradition. For those who are not fundamentalists it is still recommended, good. - Bread and focaccia: dangerous, especially focaccia. In the sense that it is excellent, and you risk eating tons of it. In conclusion I can say that no, I wasn't bad eating here. But I wouldn't go back.
07/01/2025: Personale cordiale ed efficiente per un locale dove si rinnova ogni volta il gusto della tradizione. Ogni volta i preparati lasciano soddisfatto il palato del cliente che può gustare i piatti della tradizione. Buonissimo il risotto e il bunet ma anche l'antipasto con peperoni e acciughe. Davvero ottimo
