If you are not of Sri Lankan origin, the cuisine does not abound with spiciness.

addition: since the first reception two months ago I have been back twice more, including today.
Egg Kottu, lentil and spinach dhal and polos (i.e. Sinhalese Jackfruit - a UNIQUE taste and texture) and finally the best dessert in the world watalappan (maybe that's what it's called:)
Great simple food for the price.
It can get spicy, even inadvertently...like the somosa.
But I like spicy. It's clean , unpretentious...god for a healthy meal, even for veg/vegan.
I raccomend the curry rice, it's a mixed plate with protein and veggies.
Really warms your heart.
Rice nice and dry, not oily at all, and a great variety to go with
