Nice location, well-stocked with wines. The dishes are just okay, though much less than they promise. Very poor value for money.

Excellent pizzoccheri, as well as the selection of bresaola and venison carpaccio. Excellent selection of Valtellina wines, spoiled for choice. Rustic location. Friendly and helpful service.

Company dinner in a separate room... Everything was perfect: food, wine, and service. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Nice restaurant with a large terrace where we enjoyed our meal. Very friendly staff and excellent food. A small downside is the coffee. Since I pass through that area often, I'll gladly return.

The seafood spaghetti was missing. I settled for a delicious, tasty pizzoccheri. The service was friendly, pleasant, and efficient. Next time, I'll book.

We went to this restaurant based on a recommendation. We suggest trying the local charcuterie items. Divine! We ordered a traditional dish, Trippa and Pumpkin Risotto, which were also wonderful. They offer several local wines. Only the best. Go without hesitation! Parking available on the side.

My husband, my two children, and I treated ourselves to a lunch "on the go" at this restaurant, where we'd already had the opportunity to appreciate the chef's work during a "four-handed" dinner organized by Slow Food at a restaurant near us in Brianza. For this occasion, we opted for the nine-course "Ghe pensi mì" menu, featuring a tasting menu of the chef's choice for the entire table. We were offered a series of appetizers based primarily on the selection of excellent raw materials, not only local (super-aged bresaola, Cremona salami, fresh porcini mushroom salad, but also pickled swordfish, modeghili, and cabbage salad with bagna caoda, all seasoned or accompanied in original ways), a masterful risotto (flavored with fermented lemon and black pepper and placed on black pudding), a smoked and roasted char (which we had already greatly appreciated at the previous dinner, but here accompanied by different preparations and still excellent), a truly interesting selection of four cheeses (two goat's and two cow's milk), and finally four sharing portions of four different desserts with different consistencies (a cake, a mousse, a semifreddo, and a sorbet), all very good but not memorable, although I really loved the blueberry sorbet. Overall, we ate divinely, appreciating the chef's choice of ingredients, the pairings, and, of course, the execution of the dishes. Providing a restaurant that isn't solely based on tradition and local produce can be challenging in these parts (though the menu certainly features the iconic pizzoccheri and bresaola!). From the well-stocked Valtellina counter—with a nice shelf for the rest of Italy, too—we selected a couple of bottles from small local producers to accompany our meal and finally asked for a recommendation for a good grappa. Everything was truly delightful: the food, the wine, the lovely day that allowed us to dine on the lovely outdoor veranda (a bit noisy due to the nearby road and train tracks, unfortunately), the kind and knowledgeable staff, the prompt service, and the chat with the chef afterward. The bill also seemed fair; in fact, we found the quality/price ratio to be excellent. We'll definitely be back and recommend it!

From the moment you enter, the place is captivating, thanks to the vast selection of wines on display. We had a delicious appetizer of four different cuts of bresaola (some lean, some fattier), which we highly recommend. Pizzoccheri is hands down the restaurant's signature dish. We weren't entirely impressed with the risotto. The blueberry sorbet was truly delicious. Good value.

Chiosco da Michele

29/09/2025: Excellent restaurant with a panoramic view of the Bormio Valley. Generous and carefully prepared dishes. Try the platter.
20/08/2025: I came to this place with my girlfriend. A wide selection of dishes, mostly traditional, including appetizers, first courses, second courses, sandwiches, and desserts. The Braulio sorbet was also very good. Very friendly and helpful staff; the view was breathtaking. We'll definitely be back!

Belvedere

25/10/2025: A lovely little place located across from the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Tirano with excellent food and reasonable prices, and friendly and attentive staff. Recommended!
22/10/2025: All in all, it was solid. The pizza with venison was truly excellent. My wife's salmon pizza was rather bland, and the salmon itself was very salty. The service was okay, but it was very annoying that tables were already being moved and the restaurant was being cleaned even though people were still eating at several tables. The prices are okay, but certainly geared towards tourists.
