03/07/2025: I'm not from the area and after several years we finally found a time when there was no queue so I tried it, curious to understand where the fame of the place comes from.
The sandwiches are huge. The bread is light and crunchy (this can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your tastes).
The basic version is very simple if you want some vegetables, mushrooms, cheese you have to add ingredients and the price goes up.
I had the sandwich with chicken breast, lettuce leaf and fresh tomato. The meat was grilled, without salt or oil or spices. My sandwich was generally dry and not very tasty, I asked for salt. €7
My husband had a complete sandwich with a burger of young beef, bacon, aubergines in oil, mozzarella etc., very abundant and very greasy, he liked it a lot, however we arrive at €16 and it's not a small amount.
In general if for you the quantity is a determining factor and more important than interesting combinations this place is very good.
Come very early or arm yourself with saintly patience.
21/06/2025: Sandwich shop located on the Latina seafront, easily reachable both on foot and by car given the large amount of parking nearby. The place is easily accessible to everyone considering that there are no steps that hinder. In their menu they serve sandwiches with grilled meat, plated meat, skewers and some fried food. I had a sandwich with Capocollo, Scamorza, Pancetta, Mayonnaise and Barbecue Sauce (11€) which was very good and very abundant, all the flavours could be tasted very well only the capocollo was a little too dry in some places and could not be tasted much and the bacon some pieces were a little softer, but still excellent. I also had a sandwich with Hamburger, Pancetta, Scamorza, Mayonnaise, Ketchup and Barbecue Sauce (11€) and this was even better nothing to say. We then had a portion of French fries (5€) which were nothing special, frozen fries from the bag, not even cooked well given that they were all soft and not at all crunchy, 5€ too much as a price. We also took 10 arrosticini (12€) which were good, normal, the meat in the single arrosticini could have had 2/3 more pieces. The main problem with this place is the waiting times, really endless (they warn you when you order anyway), we arrived at 7:30 pm to order takeaway and we picked up the sandwiches at 9 pm which is unacceptable. First of all, the takeaway queue cannot be the same as those at the table and they should find a solution because the situation has been like this for years and nothing changes, in fact it may even get worse. The final bill considering 2 cokes (3€ each) was 45€ which is fair. Final rating 8/10 (the sandwiches are 10, but the wait and the frozen fried foods affect it).
