By chance we found ourselves in this little restaurant in the center of Viterbo and we were lucky. We tasted the typical dishes of the area and the thing we liked most was undoubtedly the chickpea and chestnut soup which was truly delicious. The suckling pig also plays its part. Even though we discovered in the end that it was a black and white restaurant (5 out of 5 we supported something else), we will return with great pleasure

Had lunch today with friends. Historic restaurant in the center, easily accessible. Cozy environment with trained and courteous staff. We ate excellent first courses, recommended lombrichelli and delicious desserts. Correct account. Advised!

Heartwarming chickpea and chestnut soup, everything else excellent, wines, suckling pig, chicken, desserts and bitters.
Manager knows his stuff and friendliness is another 10 and praise. I will go back without a doubt!

This place was OK, but not more than that, and in a city with lots of choices, I regretted this one. I started with an appetiser of bread and oil. The oil appeared to have been splashed randomly over the (just 3) small slices of bread. Then there was a long wait -- two other couples who had come after me received their meals before I. I'm not a stickler for first come, first served, but the wait was not justified by the low complexity of the meal and the appearance of the owner's son realising that my order had been misplaced -- this is only a suspicion, but the guy really did appear to have a sudden insight, following pretty quickly by the eggplant parmesan, which was somewhat burnt around the edges.
I asked the same guy about the house red wine, and all he could tell me was that it was from Tuscany. It was OK but if I had known more (grape, year, vineyard, etc) I might have made another choice.
So overall, disappointment for 44 Euros.

Probabilmente non si mangia benissimo, però devo dire che non si mangia nemmeno male. La qualità del cibo l'ho trovata buona. La trattoria inoltre ha una grande storia che si respira entrando in questo posto. I prezzi sono elevatissimi
