Large venue for corporate dinners, weddings and events.
Very large and varied menu.
I got fried piadina, fried sage, exceptional.
Straw and hay are excellent, they are not easily found on the menus.
The eggnog is a must and with the chocolate salami it is the death of it.
Good service, Romagna welcome.
Excellent value for money.

There were six of us at the table and we were all very happy with the lunch. Good quality and plentiful food. Many traditional Romagna dishes. Friendly staff and average prices. To keep in mind.

In spite of the great company I was enjoying for the evening, this restaurant did not quite manage to be the cherry on the cake.
To start with, I think the double reference "Ristorante Trattoria" in the name is a confusing misnomer, as it is clear - once you are inside - that Manueli has no intention to present themselves as a "trattoria". This is a pity, because the food would probably feature better in a more popular type of establishment. The aspiration to a classier "restaurant" remains unfulfilled for the most part.
An especially negative point they scored with me was with my order of a plate of battered zucchini flowers: this was a childhood favourite of mine, and quite simple to prepare, frankly speaking. And yet, I had difficulty finding the flowers amid tonnes of batter which, being fried, eventually gave me a fairly nauseous feeling.

A pesar de la gran compañía que estaba disfrutando por la noche, este restaurante no logró ser la cereza del pastel.
Para empezar, creo que la doble referencia "Ristorante Trattoria" en el nombre es un nombre erróneo confuso, ya que está claro -una vez que estás dentro- que Manueli no tiene intención de presentarse como una "trattoria". Esto es una lástima, porque la comida probablemente aparecería mejor en un tipo de establecimiento más popular. La aspiración a un "restaurante" con más clase sigue sin cumplirse en su mayor parte.
Un punto especialmente negativo que consiguieron conmigo fue con mi pedido de un plato de flores de calabacín rebozadas: este era uno de mis favoritos de la infancia, y bastante sencillo de preparar, francamente hablando. Y sin embargo, tuve dificultades para encontrar las flores en medio de toneladas de masa que, al ser fritas, eventualmente me dieron una sensación bastante nauseabunda.

Since I have lived in Faenza, there is no weekend without a stop at Manueli. Whether to consume on site or for takeaway. In 10 years I have never seen a dish go wrong, I have never been disappointed, nor have I put down the cutlery without being fully full and satisfied. Each dish is based on traditional cuisine, in the true spirit of Romagna (both in terms of abundance and quality), with flavors that are sometimes moving because they recall those of the grandmother's cuisine. Alieto and his family are a guarantee. And as he would say: "BENESUM!".
