Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay at Stella de la Versilia. Highlights included a quiet location surrounded by umbrella pines, two parking lots, a large, pleasant grounds to explore, clean and well-equipped rooms, easy access to the Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca, and Siena, a high-quality breakfast buffet, very friendly staff at the restaurant and at breakfast, helpful and friendly housekeepers, a smart TV that didn't spoil anything, and the respect for my disability-related accommodations (walk-in shower). The Olivo restaurant is also very pleasant, despite the limited vegetarian options, which are not unique to it but rather typical of the region between land and sea.
The quantities and quality are there, and the service is impeccable. The only difficulties: the lack of air conditioning, which was mentioned as being activated on the hotel's pages but wasn't. It was supposed to be turned on on May 1st, we were told, but never was, despite the 26°C in the rooms, which was hard to bear for Northern Europeans. And then, yes, a pool open all year round is nice, but if it's heated, that's even better... We were disappointed by the lack of opportunity to relax in it between our many visits. Too bad.
However, regarding the paid water in the room mentioned in another comment, the person concerned is probably referring to the water in the "mini bar" fridge, which is charged as in all hotels (except for the welcome tray, which here provides tea and coffee), and not running water, which is absolutely not included in the charge.
In short, we've made do with a few inconveniences and always keep a fan in our trunk when we travel to avoid disappointments. It would be fair to mention that
1) the pool is not heated,
2) the air conditioning is only active at certain times of the year and not based on the actual temperature or constantly, as was supposed to be the case.
Regarding the location, I removed one star because, although I really appreciated the peace and quiet, Massa and Ronchi are a little empty at this time of year, while Camaiore and Viareggio are more welcoming despite the low season. However, this hotel remains well located in relation to the sea and the baths, as well as to the main roads and shops. I therefore recommend this hotel but suggest that it provide some clarification on its pages.

The place is incredible because it belongs to Gigi Buffon's family, and the entire lobby and restaurant are decorated with top soccer players' attire. I really liked the quality of the restaurant's dinner, the staff's service, and the breakfast buffet. Regarding the room, I only want to note that the air conditioning is not controllable and it was a bit warm. Otherwise, it's very good. Excellent 4 stars.

A wonderful gem of a hotel. It's a place with attention to detail, cozy, and a very peaceful atmosphere where you can unwind and enjoy. There's a wonderful restaurant where dinner becomes a very pleasant experience. Valentina took excellent care of us, giving us invaluable recommendations. We hope to return soon.

Found by chance while having to stay a couple of days in Versilia, it was a pleasant discovery, more for the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff and for the location than for the structure itself, but not bad anyway. The room was spacious and well equipped, with a nice bathroom with window, perhaps not modern, with some small flaws, but nothing major, perhaps the biggest disappointment was the breakfast, the room was nice, but from a 4* we definitely expect more and better. Definitely worth considering if we were to return to the area.

Sita al Belvedere, un po' difficile da raggiungere.
Avevamo voglia di fare una buona mangiata di piatti tipici con prodotti locali ma...
Unico piatto apprezzato: le patatine chips, buone, cotte al punto giusto con olio pulito.
Piatti non apprezzati: la pasta ai carciofi, pancetta e ricotta salata per lo scarso condimento, in entrambi i piatti, percepito un solo pezzetto di gambo di carciofo e pezzetti di prosciutto crudo al posto della pancetta ( terribile, non apprezzata sostituzione!!). Il piatto deve riportare esattamente gli ingredienti citati nel menu', diversamente si deve avvisare il cliente che, potrebbe essere allergico/intollerante o semplicemente non gradire un l' ingrediente diverso.
Fare uno sforzetto in più! Un condimento ricco garantisce grinta e gusto pieno al piatto, oltre la piena soddisfazione del cliente ( meglio risparmiare su altro!).
Secondo piatto non gradito: carne alla brace, completamente sporca dei residui della griglia ( immangiabile e non sana. Peccato perché la carne era buona); la griglia deve essere pulita prima durante e dopo il servizio, i residui delle cotture devono essere grattati via e la griglia va poi pulita!!
Terzo piatto non gradito: l' hamburger dichiarato nel menù di chianina, tale non era, aveva uno strano sapore, sgradevole ( conosciamo bene gli hamburger di chianina,scottona etc..e sappiamo distinguere i vari tipi di carne).
In sostanza, sentirsi turlupinati non è un piacere. Esperienza deludente!

A daydream, this is how I would describe my weekend getaway in this hotel. Beautiful structure, attention to every detail, spacious, clean room equipped with every comfort, the breakfast buffet is full and varied, replenished often and with products mostly prepared by the restaurant staff within the structure.
What can I say... they kept the promise they made to me when I checked in together with my partner: if you are here to unplug, it will be a pleasure for us to let you unplug.
The morning at the Spa was perfect and intimate, they prepared everything just for us and the girl from the beauty center pampered us from the first to the last minute. Until your next stay Stella della Versilia 🌼
