We dined without a reservation on a Friday evening as a couple. The staff was helpful, though not exactly welcoming. The buffalo mozzarella and guanciale rigatoni were good, and the Chiantigiana spaghetti were very salty. The prices were average, but the portions were small, so the price was a bit high for what we ate. Overall, we were less than satisfied with the experience.

A historic and very welcoming place, with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the traditional dishes. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

I've been to Angiolino three times now, and each time I've had a wonderful meal. They serve Tuscan recipes that get straight to the point, without unnecessary twists and turns. We're in Santo Spirito, among the narrow streets of the Oltrarno, and from the moment you enter, you're greeted by a warm atmosphere of exposed brick, weathered wood, and closely spaced tables where true conviviality reigns. The sound of conversation mingles with the aromas from the open kitchen, making you feel like you're at a Sunday lunch. Among the dishes I've tried: the beef tartare, the raw artichoke salad with parmesan shavings, the fried artichokes, the creamy Tuscan ribollita, the Florentine steak cooked rare, and the lampredotto—all rich in authentic flavors. And then the bread: flat, warm, and crunchy, the kind that goes right away. To finish, biscotti accompanied by a lemon-infused custard. The service is exactly what you'd expect in a true trattoria: spontaneous smiles, jokes, zero formality, but plenty of attention. In short, it's not one of those "just passing through" places, but one you return to because you've grown fond of it. And you can tell by the clientele: many Florentines, a sign that they come here for authentic flavors. I'll definitely be back soon.

Wonderful, the waiter was very helpful with good recommendations. Very please with food and wine.

Family style restaurant close to the Ponte Vecchi with friendly staff, nice selection of food and of course the "steak florenze". But due to location we thought the food was overpriced and portions small. All in all worth the visit but there are better restaurants in the neighbourhood.

We have been coming to this wonderful restaurant for years … it’s truly one of the best in Florence and definitely one of our favorites!!!

For a birthday, I found myself eating at this renowned osteria... in words... Because the facts are thrilling: after sampling coccoli left and right here, I finally managed to eat some superlative coccoli (but I think fried food is one of the specialties of this place): crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside, and not the usual puffy coccoli; these are like cherries. I tried (2 portions just for me) risotto served inside a giant Parmesan wheel. Written like this, it sounds like yet another touristic story or something seen over and over on Instagram reels, but, service aside, it was one of the best risottos I've ever tasted. One of the recommended specialties was the stewed mutton: asked for, served, polished off, and even mopped up. There's no point posting photos and videos: I strongly recommend you at least order, watch, and enjoy. Young, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Fast and excellent service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
