My wife and I chose Griso Restaurant for our wedding day because we were so impressed with our first experience there, a dinner there. We admired the beauty of the venue and the friendliness and professionalism of Robert, the venue's manager. Thanks in part to his support, we were able to organize the dinner for our most important day with near-perfect accuracy, given their professionalism, dedication, and organizational skills. We opted for the fish-based menu, allowing us to vary some of the dishes. A separate room with three terraces was reserved for us, allowing us to further admire the splendid view and take wonderful photos! We also extend our infinite thanks to Robert for his impeccable management of the room's decorations, fully accommodating our additional requests. Everything went perfectly, making our most beautiful and important day unique!

Party of 4 people on holiday, special evening dinner occasion celebrating my daughter's new job. We all had the tasting menu. Food and wine excellent, as was the wonderful panoramic view. Service was overall ok, although a little clunky at times (seemed to be dependent on individual members of staff). A further improvement would be for each course to be described to the table as it is served (which in our experience is normal for tasting menus, but this only happened for one of our courses). Overall a very nice evening, one which we will always remember. Thank-you.

We stopped in here for lunch on our way to Lake Como. I had the grilled shrimp with foie gras, and it was fantastic. Every bite was a delight.
No disappointment at all in the food flavoring or taste.
Our server was efficient. She didn’t smile - but that is probably just her personality. She definitely took good care of us.
The view was postcard worthy.

I spent two exceptional days at this hotel-restaurant with my wife. The setting is simply sumptuous and magnificent, ideal for relaxing and fully enjoying your stay. Dinner was a true pleasure: delicious dishes, a refined atmosphere, and above all, impeccable service. The waiters are exceptionally courteous and attentive, always present without being intrusive. The quality of service is incredible, worthy of the finest establishments. I recommend it a million percent! It was a real love at first sight, we will be back without hesitation.

I visited the Griso Panorama restaurant for a family lunch. We particularly enjoyed the risotto with perch: an unconventional version, but very interesting and tasty. The appetizers and desserts were also very good and carefully prepared. The food and service were excellent.
Not to be missed is the stunning view from the terrace overlooking the lake, with Lecco and the Larian mountains as a backdrop.
I recommend it for an excellent lunch on the lake.

"That branch of Lake Como, which turns toward midday..."
This is how "I Promessi Sposi" begins, and this is how, ideally, my evening at Griso Restaurant begins: with a breathtaking view and a transportive atmosphere, amidst beauty, hospitality, and flavors that tell a story.
I was passing by, and I recommend trying the new tasting menu, driven by curiosity and the trust I already had in this restaurant.
As I imagined, it was an experience to remember, indeed, to talk about.
The welcome was warm yet discreet, the atmosphere elegant and relaxed, with impeccable service. The waiters, ever-present but never intrusive, guided me through each dish with expertise and passion. But the real magic began with the arrival of the dishes.
The entrée? A surprise that immediately shifted the focus of the dinner toward excellence: a arrosticini that seemed to have arrived straight from the hills of Abruzzo. Just the right amount of meaty, savory yet balanced, with a light crust enclosing a soft and succulent center. An instant journey, from Lake Como to the heart of authentic Italy.
Then the egg, a seemingly simple protagonist, but here transformed into a feat of technique and sensitivity. Perfectly cooked, the velvety yolk married with carefully selected ingredients, creating a flavorful balance that spoke of the silent labor of those who know the raw material and know how to enhance it.
The perch risotto was, perhaps, the most disarming moment: in its apparent simplicity, it was among the best I've ever tasted.
No artifice, no superstructure. Just flavor, delicacy, and authenticity.
Just as Marco Bragato teaches in Sfidati, sometimes it's the simplest things that require the greatest courage: that of not overdoing it, of not wanting to impress at all costs, but of staying true to what works, to what is true.
The second course was a celebration of lightness and balance: a refined preparation, elegant in flavor and presentation.
Finally, the dessert. A dystopian finale, but in the best sense of the word: unsettling, unexpected, with daring pairings that nevertheless worked, like a lucid dream where nothing is as it seems but everything makes sense.
Conducting this silent yet powerful symphony was Robert Tudor.
His presence in the dining room was not that of a simple sommelier or maître d', but that of an authentic coach, in the deepest sense of the word.
As Bragato recounts in Sfidati, the true coach is one who knows how to put himself at the service of others, with listening, humility, and vision.
Robert embodied all this, curating the wine pairings with a rare, never forced, sensitivity, capable of making the dishes and wine dialogue like two harmonious instruments.
He guided me with passion and precision, but above all with that ability to read people that only those who have truly chosen to dedicate themselves to this profession possess.
As Bragato says, "an authentic coach doesn't change you: he helps you discover who you already are." And Robert did just that, helping me live my taste, rediscover it, and be amazed.
At the Griso Restaurant, I didn't just dine: I had an experience that combined beauty, authenticity, and care.
A journey into taste, but also into relationships, the art of receiving, and the power of small choices made with the heart.
I will return. Because there are places that speak, and people who know how to listen. And together, they create magic.

An experience that satisfies the sight and the palate.
The cuisine surprises with balance and taste, while the lake, right in front, is the perfect backdrop.
A place where every detail speaks of beauty.

High-level business lunch! Portions perhaps a little small and complete menu a little out of budget for those who work every day, but the landscape, the relaxation is priceless!
