Ristorante Teresita In Viareggio

1. At the entrance there was a woman asking for personal information in order to do something with RANGE ROVER, which was out of place for the kind of experience we were expecting; 2. The service was excellent! 3. The spaghetti with clams were unfortunately over salted, even though the quality of the food was excellent; 4. The pasta with truffles was delicious and delicate! 5. The seabass with capers and olives was excellent (but a bit over salted). We are looking forward to coming back, but the next time will mention to put less salt!

I dined at Giardino dei Mari in Viareggio and the experience was overall very positive. Following the staff's guidance, I tried a sea bass with Vernaccia wine, which was simply phenomenal: a perfect balance of flavors and incredibly fresh fish. The paccheri were also very good, cooked to perfection and well-seasoned. For me, fried fish is always the "test point" for a seafood restaurant: the mixed seafood was excellent, crispy and flavorful, but unfortunately the squid had the wrong texture, which detracted somewhat from its pleasantness. It's a real shame, because this detail prevents me from awarding a fifth star, despite the fact that the closing was a success with some phenomenal desserts. Overall, an excellent place where the passion for cooking shines through. I'll definitely be back to be amazed by their dishes again!
