Fantastic place, exceptional food and super friendly staff.

We went thanks to the Smartbox agreement. I have to say that considering the packages they sell, the experience was positive, and the food wasn't bad. The staff was very polite and helpful. They let us pay a small extra 10 euros each for the kids who weren't included in the Smartbox, who only got a sausage and potatoes. Overall, the restaurant was in line with the prices and quality found elsewhere. Nice location. I think they also do an all-you-can-eat option with a buffet that's mostly cold.

Today I had the pleasure of lunch at this wonderful place nestled in the countryside just a few kilometers from Asti. I'd heard about it from friends who had attended a wedding there, and, intrigued, I decided to call yesterday for more information. Already on the phone, I was met with great courtesy and helpfulness: they explained both the à la carte menu and the all-you-can-eat option in detail. We initially planned to order from the menu, but once we saw the buffet, we fell in love. There was no wait between courses if we'd ordered from the menu—for me, who's quite anxious, a real blessing! The variety of dishes was great, with a wide selection and meticulous presentation. The room was packed, but despite there being only two waiters, the service was truly excellent, performed with professionalism, warmth, and class. I believe even the manager went out of his way to bring the food dishes to the buffet table: a wonderful team effort to witness. A wonderful experience, definitely worth repeating. It's a place I'd definitely consider celebrating my birthday. I only found out at the end that the person I'd spoken to on the phone yesterday was actually one of the two waiters, Flavio. A truly kind, friendly, and courteous person, he helped make this first experience an event to remember and talk about.

We discovered Tenuta Valminier on social media with their funny sketches, and, piqued by our curiosity, we decided to book for the Valentine's Day dinner mentioned in a post. It was a perfect choice. At the entrance, an ancient staircase led us to the first floor, where a vast room opened up, bathed in soft, warm lighting, truly evocative. The tables and the space were elegantly and romantically decorated for the occasion, and every detail was meticulously crafted. The staff was immediately courteous. We were also impressed by Flavio, who, upon arrival, offered us the option of dining at a table in the main room or on the mezzanine overlooking the dining room. We opted for the mezzanine, a winning choice, intimate and perfect for my girlfriend and I. The dinner included numerous, delicious courses. The sorbet interlude was a real treat, and the risotto was very tempting. The music was a superb accompaniment to the evening: the DJ alternated soft moments with more joyful and exciting ones, without ever being intrusive or loud (which is not a given!). The bathrooms were also commendable, clean and tidy: a detail that is always an important calling card for us. My partner and I received the utmost respect and attention from Flavio himself, who took care of everyone dining in the mezzanine. We were torn between recognizing his masterful work with a generous tip or giving him a more meaningful gift with a dedicated review, and we opted for both. Flavio, thank you for your professionalism, kindness, courtesy, commitment, availability, great enthusiasm in the truest sense of the word, and above all for taking such good care of us. Congratulations to Tenuta Valminier for the menu, the splendid location, the choice of DJ, and above all the staff (now more essential than ever). Thank you so much to everyone! ❤️

Beautiful place surrounded by greenery, wonderful waiter and exquisite and abundant dishes

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lunch on February 8th at Tenuta Valminier. Upon our arrival, a little disoriented because it was our first time, we were welcomed and shown to our table. A heartfelt thank you goes to Flavio, a key presence for us throughout this experience: professional, polite, attentive, always courteous, and smiling, he allowed us to transform our planned Smartbox experience, with a certain number of courses, into a truly special and enriching experience with their all-you-can-eat buffet, available only on certain dates (Flavio then gave us a card with the list of dates). The service was perfect. The estate is simply spectacular: large, elegant, and surrounded by nature, with a huge parking lot that makes arrival convenient. True, the route to get there is not the easiest, but once you cross the threshold, you forget about it completely. The buffet was rich, varied, and inviting, and Flavio took care to inform us which dishes might contain ingredients to which my partner has allergies. The dishes on the trays were numerous and beautifully presented, with a wide selection of desserts that won us over. The warm and welcoming fireplace room created an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, inviting us to enjoy our time unhurriedly. An experience that leaves a lasting impression, filled with good food, beauty, and truly welcoming people. Highly recommended.

Wedding October 2025. The Valminier estate is a corner of paradise where everyone goes out of their way to make your every wish come true. The venue is surrounded by a huge, well-kept park where you might encounter a few animals here and there. Momo and Jo are two wonderful hosts, attentive to every need, extremely kind and helpful. The cuisine is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I would choose the same venue again for my event.

A beautiful location and excellent food...service is excellent

This property offers a beautiful setting and an excellent restaurant. My only slight complaint is the breakfast. The owner is very friendly!

Discovered thanks to Smartbox, it was a pleasant surprise. The staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. The historic estate is well-preserved, and the renovations enhance its surroundings. The cuisine is excellent, and there's an extensive wine list that will satisfy even the most discerning palate. The rooms are well-maintained. We will definitely return. I also recommend it for events, as they have large spaces suitable for family gatherings.
