Ristorante Tenuta Fattoria Vecchia In Scansano

If you want to rest and relax away from the chaos enjoying a breathtaking view from the pool on the Grosseto plain, delighting yourself with an excellent dinner and spectacular wine come here... We stayed only one day but it was enough for us to return as soon as possible. The estate is on the top of a hill reachable by a dirt road but not demanding: you can savor the rustic taste of the estates with exposed stones and well set in the territory. We had the San Geminiano room with a small private garden in front but we opted to relax by the pool .. quiet, silent and clean ... in the evening we had dinner in the restaurant where the hotel employee (whose name I don't remember) enlightened and delighted us being a professional sommelier and we ate and drank really very well .. spending the right amount for the quality tasted. In the morning breakfast à la carte served (but it is really a warm suggestion to set up the buffet so you can see the dishes and evaluate how much and what to take) .. excellent and fresh. Paid fair for the facility and service. Will return...

We had a really lovely stay at De Tenuta Fattoria Vecchia. The place is super peaceful and the views of the countryside are just beautiful. Our room was big, clean and had a lot of charm – exactly what we were hoping for. Breakfast was tasty with fresh local stuff, and the people working there were so kind and helpful. It’s a great spot to relax or explore the area. Would definitely come back!

Great combination of calmness, great views and incredibly nice and helpful service. The pool is also great. We really enjoyed the wine selection and wine consultation with local wines from Maremma. Location is remote - however you can easily visit cities around as well as the seaside by car.

My partner and I both loved Tenuta Fattoria Vecchia. The views were stunning the service was impeccable and the rooms were great. The food we had was some of the best we had in Italy and the wine was fantastic and local. The service we received was exceptional. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We look forward to visiting again in the future and very much recommend this place!

Beautiful estate in the heart of Tuscany, far from the casinos of the most tourist destinations and immersed in an authentic and unparalleled landscape. The staff, room and dinner were beyond our expectations. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, with authenticity and love. We will definitely return and recommend it to all those who want to escape the frenzy and enjoy the silence of nature.
