I recently stayed at the estate for the April 25th long weekend, with my wife and two children, ages 3 and 8. It was a wonderful holiday that we will cherish forever. It would certainly be wonderful to return in the summer, to enjoy the property even more, using the pool and soaking up the cool woods surrounding it. What can I say? If you enjoy being in touch with nature, the peace and quiet of being in the middle of a forest far from the hustle and bustle... then this is the place for you! If you enjoy healthy, authentic food... then this is the place for you! Who isn't it for? For those who don't enjoy being in contact with animals, their company, and their company, and for those who don't have a car suitable for off-roading! Because getting to Codirosso isn't something for sports cars! ;-)

Beautiful place, truly relaxing. I didn't sleep there, but I spent enough time there to realize it's one of those places that relieves stress as soon as you arrive. Silence, greenery everywhere, clean air: zero chaos, zero noise, just true tranquility. The estate is well-kept without being fake or artificial. Wide spaces, an authentic atmosphere, and the kind of peace that's hard to find these days. Even just a visit or a few hours can change your day. One thing to know: in the evening, and especially at night, there are lots of wild boars roaming around. It's no joke—you see them, you hear them, and they're part of the "nature package" of the place. It's normal for the area; just stay away and let them go about their business. Overall, Tenuta Codirosso is perfect if you're looking for a place to unwind and breathe. Even without sleeping there, you immediately understand that it's a special place, immersed in nature and far from everything that stresses you out. Highly recommended.

We had lunch at the Tenuta Codirosso restaurant to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed an excellent seafood menu. The very helpful owners helped us carefully choose every detail, accommodating our requests: from the dishes, to the background music, to the table decorated with fresh flowers. The atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant, nestled in the hills of Castelnuovo di Val di Cecina. We highly recommend it, and our entire family extends a special thanks to the entire staff.
