We came here upon a recommendation of our driver from earlier in the trip...and we were not disappointed. The drive is a beautiful appetizer of what is to come. The island specialty is rabbit prepared in clay cookware. The atmosphere here is local and charming.

Anyone coming to Ischia absolutely mustn't miss this stop!!! Excellent food, sublimely cooked rabbit, homemade pappardelle, and excellent, authentic side dishes. And last but not least, the lady's dessert, the best. Friendly and hospitable owners and staff, a welcoming atmosphere. In short, everything was excellent, even the price.

A family-run restaurant with amazing food. These incredibly kind people noticed that I was a bit cold and gave me a sweater which I could take with me, waited with me outside for a bus and eventually put me in an auto with other guest ladies who gave me a ride back to Forio. True hospitality and kindness.

What a beautiful place and what good food. The staff were incredibly kind, and the lady was adorable. What can I say? Don't miss it. If you're driving or scootering, get there early to take advantage of the parking.

A charming place, like the trattorias of old, with checkered tablecloths and a host who takes orders with a notebook and pen, something that with today's technology is done digitally. The menu is typical of a trattoria. We had appetizers featuring zucchini flowers stuffed with buffalo ricotta, handmade potato croquettes, artisanal pickles, homemade fettuccine with rabbit sauce, and the famous Ischian rabbit as a main course. Everything was sublime and exceptional. We finished with a glass of homemade arugula and pepperoni, delicious. Highly recommended.

Nothing to say except that you have to come back if you want to eat real Ischian rabbit. Top-quality ingredients, friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Celiac options are also available. Top-notch.

Despite being very famous on the island (and beyond), the welcome and kindness of the service were exceptional: they made everyone feel at home. We ordered a zucchini flower, a bruschetta, two grilled meats, their fries, and a salad. Everything was delicious and of very high quality! Even though I'm not a meat fan, I ate my grilled meat with gusto, down to the last bite. In conclusion: if you're in Ischia, you have to dine here. A total of 10/10.

19/11/2025: To me, A’Marenna is the best place for sandwiches and salads in Sorrento—not only for the food, but also for the staff and the vibe! They have so many choices that it was hard to decide, since I liked so many toppings. I tried the panuozzo and the No.5 salad. Even though I’m not usually a fish lover, the tuna fillet was excellent—paired with cheese, almonds, apples, and greens, it offered layers of flavour and texture. I loved it so much that I ordered the same sandwich two days in a row! We ordered quite a lot: each salad comes with bread, and we also had a salad and a sandwich each. The staff wondered if we could finish everything, and we did—it became our dinner that day and breakfast the next morning. The staff were very friendly and chatted with us while preparing the food. One of them shared her love for Florence when I mentioned my upcoming trip, and when I returned the next day, they still remembered us despite serving so many customers daily. That made us feel really welcome. I also had a nice conversation with one of the staff about her holiday plans. She mentioned wanting to visit Tanzania but was concerned about the situation there. I truly hope she has a wonderful and safe journey—she deserves a relaxing holiday after such a busy tourist season.
11/11/2025: Ate lunch and dinner here several times. Had both sandwiches and salads. Everything was fantastic. And the ladies who run the place are super friendly. Highly recommend you give it a try.
