We went for lunch on Sunday and ate very well. We were on the terrace which enjoys a beautiful view given that the day permitted it, the service was good and the staff were also kind and professional. I will return with friends even though it is not so close for me.

I went there today with a large group of 55 people!!! We had agreed on a fixed price menu: first course, second course with side dish, dessert, water and wine €28. So far so good, normal food for any trattoria. The surprise was the coffee for which, since it was not included in the menu, we were asked €2 each. The explanation was that it included table service.

Mi spiace dirlo ma sono rimasto deluso,andavo anni fa' ed era tutta un'altra cosa.
Volevo solo dare un consiglio ai proprietari: in sala chi prende l'ordinazione dovrebbe a mio avviso conoscere i piatti che vado a ordinare,dare un minimo di spiegazione del piatto,non liquidare dicendo "se non lo assaggia non lo saprà mai".Tutto il resto nella norma da locanda storica mi aspettavo di più.

The location is very beautiful, and the welcome was very warm. A cool terrace surrounded by geraniums where you can see a wonderful view of the village of Castell'Arcuato. However, as far as catering is concerned, in my opinion the price seems really high for what is offered. Starter of Piacenza cured meats with the wrong amount on the final bill (2 euros more), welcome flute of bubbles but charged for, rather small portions, although the porcini risotto was still remarkable. (I don't like "hat" dishes, with a small central portion and a lot of edge). In my opinion, the covered bread was not up to par in quality. An appetizer (split), two plates of risotto with porcini mushrooms, a dessert (split), a single glass of wine, all for around €85 in total. In short, you are certainly paying for the well-kept location and the impeccable service, but the prices are slightly out of proportion. At least the Piacenza cured meats (8 slices in total) could have been served with fried gnocco or something more appetizing.

The tavern has a wonderful view, I would say unique, we were welcomed very cordially and lunch was relaxing and pleasant. The tagliolini with truffle are excellent, the porcini mushrooms are good, the veal with tuna sauce is also a fresh flat bun. We will return and therefore, I recommend it.
