Fantastic food and very friendly staff! I particularly recommend the Zereshk Polo; I've been eating it almost every day for a few weeks and I never get tired of it. It's delicious!

We ordered three dishes (Fesenjan, Sultani kebab, and ghorme sabzi), along with one appetizer (koufteh) served with Zeytoon parvardeh. All were delicious with amazing taste & flavors. The atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent.

Wonderful meal, the atmosphere was great. We ordered a lot of food and tried it all with each other. 100% recommend the traditional ice cream.

I ate here with some friends. Warm and pleasant atmosphere, the owner is an extremely friendly woman who is interested in making her culture known through her dishes. Delicious dishes, plentiful and the price is very fair for what is offered Furthermore, the presence of many vegetable and yogurt-based dishes makes it an excellent option for vegetarians I will definitely come back

Like the ambiance pretty much reflecting both modern and traditional Persian. The staff were very polite, food was good I tried Zereshk Polo which tastes very much like home made plates. Prices are neother too expensive nor too cheap, very reasonable. I recommend it and will go back again when I visit Rome.

Tanur è un ristorante piccolo, ma accogliente, caratterizzato da elementi persiani , che naturalmente poi ritroviamo nella cucina, saporita e speziata delicatamente. Tutte le portate ci hanno soddisfatto. La presentazione dei piatti è caratteristica per le stoviglie !

26/03/2024: Tried the Aperol Spritz for 5€. This is an Italian wine-based cocktail often served as an apéritif. Saw many F&B patrons drinking it, but it’s too bitter for me to enjoy 😅 It is pretty sweet for the most part but the aftertaste is like medicine…
18/03/2024: Small place in the Ostiense area. We had mixed appetizers and two stews with rice and saffron. The humus and yogurt with spinach particularly impressed us, while the meat and rice meatball was not exceptional. The rice roll in vine leaf and the potato, pea, dill and cucumber cream were average. We had a stew with chicken, walnuts, pomegranate juice and saffron, and another with beef, barberry berries, almonds, dried lemons and tomatoes. I must say that both were tasty and bold, perfect paired with basmati rice. Recommended for those who love out-of-the-ordinary flavours. Friendly and helpful staff, quick service. Possible menu for €25, with starter + typical bread, dish of the day, drink and tea/coffee.
