a couple of hours from Milan.
The Tantane` is a simple and well-kept, family-run hotel and restaurant with Fabio and Lorena, young hosts
Cautious and informal atmosphere, here you find a small community made up of regular guests and locals, the furnishings are reminiscent of places from times gone by, slightly out of the way there is a truly delightful room with a fireplace.
The restaurant offers typical Aosta Valley cuisine such as gnocchi with bleu d'Aoste, polenta concia that takes your words away, fondue as tradition dictates, their soup, venison stew with polenta, you can even make a shoe of it, it's so tasty Is it tasty.
And even other specialties from appetizers to desserts.
In short, all dishes worth trying.
You're bound to come back, to try something different again because just once isn't enough.
Chef Settimo is superb and makes everyone agree, even the most spoiled palates.
A special mention to the wine list that Fabio, very expert and passionate, personally takes care of and is always present to advise you on the right pairing.
The service with Lorena is fast but not frenetic, people come here for the quiet. Her eye is attentive and friendly, no table with her is left behind!
At Tantane you enter as a customer, you leave with a "goodbye everyone", see you soon!
