Excellent pasta and bread, the owner was also lovely in making recommendations. The monkfish ravioli was the best we've ever had and the handmade pasta was simply delicious. The accompanying bread was also perfect for the pasta sauces. 5/5, a GOAT for those finishing their trip to Pompeii.

Molto bene. Definitely authentic Italian cuisine which is hard to find in touristy cities. Skip all flashy restaurants and go here for a real Italian experience. I recommend the clam spaghetti and the fried fish. And the new tile looks great.

Another great find through Google. Highly rated hole in the wall of an Italian restaurant. Extremely popular. There were only one table available when arrived. The chef takes his time in taking the order, prepare and serve each table. He was short handed that night and served the tables almost sequentially. Plan to stay there for a while! It took him an hour and 15 minutes to get to our table. Apologetically he said to me: wait! Don’t order anything. Leave it to me! I’ll make my special for you. It is not on the menu but I’ll make it!! 45 minutes later he comes out with an amazing ravioli dish that we savored. He also recommended a great wine to accompany his creation. It was the end of the night and I invited him to a glass of wine at my table. Another couple from the adjacent table joined us and that’s when Lucius ( aka Luigi) told us how he had entered the Italian chef competition, and along with 2000 other chefs, scored a perfect 100%. Guess what! He won with the ravioli dish he just made for me. Amazing pleasant time until he closed. We all sat at a table as if members of a large Italian family. Chatted, drank great wine and had a beautiful time. I hope this place will make for beautiful memories for you, as it did for us.

We came here after leaving the Pompei ruins and this place is a gem!! The owner Lucius makes everything as you order, the ravioli with monk fish and ricotta cheese was amazing. One of the better meals here in southern Italy. The rest of the family loved their meals too.

The waitress, an older lady whose name I didn’t catch, was really friendly and welcoming and as a solo traveler made be feel really comfortable. Food was absolutely fantastic, there’s a reason why it’s rated so highly. Prices were also extremely reasonable. Would definitely recommend
