In Portofino, a stop at the Michelin-starred restaurant is a must. Martina and Gabriele, the two owners, took us on a culinary experience you'll never forget, one that rivals many Michelin-starred restaurants. The waiters were always attentive, and the timing was perfect, from aperitif to dessert. The ingredients were top-quality, with a special mention for the truly exceptional raw fish. The wine list caters to every palate. Visit them if you're in the area.

We stopped for drinks and quick lunch after some hiking in Portofino. Surprisingly good or great. Fantastic spaghetti bolognese. Large portions. Good pricing for right at the harbour. It’s been hit and miss for the restaurants here in Portofino. But we can definitely recommend this place.

We love this place a lot - really nice homemade kitchen with some fancy touches. Wine selection is great - they have wines from small houses which are not so hyped. We took half of the menu and loved everything.

Comida súper deliciosa! Mi esposo y yo paramos aquí para almorzar un día y ambos comimos platos de pasta especiales. Eran tan buenos que decidimos volver unos días después para almorzar y vimos a nuestro mismo camarero favorito, Larsen que nos recibió cuando nos vio. Tenían excelentes vinos por copa y simplemente hizo un almuerzo divertido y asequible con una gran vista del puerto y la gente mirando.

30/08/2025: Dinner with friends at the end of August. It's a shame it was a bit windy; perhaps a jacket would have helped (our fault, being inexperienced). The food and service were truly top-notch. I've been wanting to come here for a while, and I'm very happy with the choice. We ordered wine (Vermentino), a first course, a second course, and dessert. It cost about €40 each. Absolutely well spent; if they'd asked for €50, I wouldn't have blinked. The rabbit and cuttlefish were cooked to perfection, incredibly flavorful, and honestly, they melted in your mouth. The first courses were also truly satisfying. It's a shame I didn't immediately see the squid ink gnocchi and that they ran out of peach tartare. These are more than enough reasons to return. I recommend the place, and I recommend not just wearing a summer shirt on windy days or at the end of summer.
28/08/2025: It's a magical place, especially in the evening when the lights in the garden come on and you have the city at your feet...

Trattoria Al Baretto

27/07/2025: A restaurant with a truly evocative and romantic view. I honestly expected more from the dishes; they lacked a bit of character, making the taste very flat and bland. However, overall, I'd recommend it because the menu is traditional and typical, so it's always appreciated (and maybe that night the kitchen went badly, that happens).
25/07/2025: Dinner on the veranda with a splendid sea view. The menu features traditional Ligurian dishes. Medi's focaccias are fantastic, as are the cuculli. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but considering the location, the generous portions, and the quality of the food, I'd say the value for money is worth a visit. Just one note: since there are only a few seats, remember that reservations are required!
