We visited just before the afternoon break (siesta) and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is very pleasant and welcoming. The prices are quite reasonable for such quality. A lovely touch was the chef coming out to our table several times to personally ask if we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended for an authentic local vibe!

Typical Apulian cuisine, authentic flavors, and high-quality products. Excellent service from the owner, Angela, and extremely talented chef, her husband, Stefano. After a lovely stroll through the alleys of Ostuni, Lo Spessite is ideal for a meal that reflects the true essence of Puglia. Highly recommended.

Lunch at Spessite was one of the best experiences I had during my visit to Ostuni. It's run by the owners themselves, and the service is spectacular! The portions are generous and delicious… if you want a truly authentic Italian experience, this is the place for you!

21/12/2025: We booked a last-minute Sunday lunch...what can I say? The food was in keeping with the area, well-made, and plentiful. We really appreciated the efficient and friendly service from all the staff. Our table was a bit cramped, but the place was packed, and it was a last-minute reservation on a Sunday. We were offered a fixed menu with drinks included at a very fair price. We'll definitely return during the week and try the à la carte dishes. Thanks, and see you next time!
