Charming Living Room-Style Restaurant with Stunning Sunset View! A super cute, cozy little restaurant with a warm, homey feel and a beautiful sunset view! The place serves traditional homemade dishes, and you can really tell; it’s run by a lovely couple, with the husband in the kitchen and the wife handling service. I started with the fried vegetables (honestly a bit too much batter for my taste, but still flavorful), followed by pasta with fresh tomatoes, basil, and olive oil; absolutely delicious! For dessert, I had their signature chocolate soufflé, which was rich and indulgent. All of this paired perfectly with a great glass of Primitivo. Great value for money and such sweet owners. Highly recommended!

We stumbled into this restaurant by chance to escape the rain: we weren't disappointed. You'll enjoy a typically Italian experience, with local dishes prepared by the manager based on her inspirations of the day. We enjoyed delicious orecchiete, with a special mention for the broccoli one! We also enjoyed a beautiful sea view. You can go there with your eyes closed, and the welcome is very warm.

Deeply grateful for the authentic cuisine and conversation. The food is delicious, the sunset view an unexpected delight, and it’s quiet here away from the throngs. For anyone in Ostuni looking for an off-the-beaten-path gem, Spessite is *the* place. Grazie mille di Canada!

First class restaurant, delicious food, Mrs. Angela is very nice, everything is a 6+ PERFETTO

The restaurant is perfectly Italian. If you are thinking about good Italian food this place is a bullseye! The food is brilliant! The service, namely Mrs. Angela and her husband Francesco, are wonderful people with a wonderful restaurant! In Padua I ate a delicious tiramisu... which is no match for the one I ate today in Ostuni in Spessite. I highly recommend it!

Every time I return to Ostuni, having lunch or dinner at Spessite is the greatest of pleasures. The restaurant, in the historic center, is cozy and well-kept and has a small terrace with a view. Once seated, a gastronomic tour begins among the dishes of the true tradition of the area that the lady, always smiling, proposes, telling the story. A treat for guests who rediscover true ancient and healthy flavours, prepared with passion and paired with excellent wines. Prices are correct and low. The atmosphere is one that warms the heart and makes you feel at home, a far cry from speculative places for tourists. I can't recommend it highly enough!

In questo ristorante si riscoprono sapori dimenticati in pietanze tipiche preparate come da migliore tradizione, con cura e sapienza. Il servizio è perfetto e ti fa sentire coccolato in una atmosfera che scalda il cuore. Consigliatissimo per chi ricerca la vera cucina di Ostuni e non prettamente dedicata ai turisti.

In 3 weeks traveling from Toscana to Puglia, the best meal we've had. Unfortunately had to catch a bus to the train and we didn't get a chance for dessert and espresso. Service was excellent, and the two of us were the only table of non-locals.
