Food was generally good, sometimes great, but the service was terrible and ruined the whole experience. The manager was judgemental and didn't make us feel welcome while treating the other guests far better. Would not recommend this place for LGBT guests.

To improve:
- portion sizes from a la carte menu are uneven and very tiny.
- 25 gr of a fish as a main course it’s not acceptable
- vegetarian option of a aubergine mousse should be in ‘amuse bouche ‘ category not as a main course.

Last night I had the privilege of living an unforgettable gastronomic experience at the Sottovoce restaurant, located on the top floor of the Vista hotel, the only five-star luxury hotel in the city. Chef Stefano Mattara and his team created a perfect dinner for me, worthy of a "perfect game" in baseball, i.e. impeccable in every respect. A special table was reserved for me from which I was able to admire a breathtaking view, immersed in a room with an extremely refined atmosphere.
The evening was made even more magical by the sunset, which framed innovative and surprising cuisine. The dishes were taken care of down to the smallest detail, the ingredients were selected with great attention, and each dish offered a real explosion of flavours, leaving me speechless. The service, impeccable and worthy of five-star luxury, made the entire experience absolutely perfect.
If you are looking for a unique restaurant, capable of giving you a magical atmosphere and cuisine that amazes with every course, then Sottovoce must be at the top of your list. A dinner here is an experience that must be lived at least once in a lifetime.

You expect way more when you’re paying a Michelin star price. The waiter was extremely nice (service is on point) and the terrace is very beautiful. But paying 140 euros for a tasting menu that is nothing extraordinary, seems a little bit excessive (20 euros for an aperol spritz). I understand the prices in Como are high, but for the same price you can eat at most Michelin awarded restaurants in the area. Out of the 7 courses, three were mediocre (at best), two were interesting and two were extraordinary.

Además de los platos que disfrutamos, la atención del servicio fue maravillosa y atenta. Imprescindible en Como.
La hora de la reserva era temprano (13:00), y disfrutamos plenamente. Los entrantes cortesía fueron deliciosos, pero los platos elegidos aún más: sandía con cebolla frita y sésamo nos cautivó; y aún más los platos principales: una recreación de la parmiggiana (berenjena rellena, simulada en dos globos, que ilustraba una niña…); la Rosa, que como su propio nombre indica era una rosa 🌹 formada por ravioli de remolacha.
Postres deliciosos y el Prosecco realmente refrescante. Atención realmente profesional y amable.

Wen en COMO solemos comer allí. lugar es dentro de un edificio histórico. La gente es inteligente, incluso si en recesión encuentro que las chicas jóvenes son un poco inexpertas (pasante?? )
Fuimos por pescado y carne. buenos cursos, buenos servicios. y el paisaje en el lago es increíble.
