If you're in the area, go! It's Michelin-starred for a reason! Affordable and very good wine (including the house wine). Make a reservation. Not suitable if you're sensitive to colors...;-)

We can very much recommend Sottosopra. We went there for dinner and have been lucky to get a table at the balcony. They offer a la carte, or fix Menü (3 courses or 6 courses). Food and service are excellent. Italian atmosphere for free!

An excellent restaurant: fine and tasty cuisine, original and elegantly presented dishes: a delight for the eyes and the taste buds. The service is perfect and very friendly. A bonus: one of the servers speaks perfect French. Don't hesitate to make a reservation, as there are many requests given the restaurant's capacity. We had a great time again this year; maybe next year, God willing...

A nice place on the outskirts of town. The food is delicious, but the wait is too long. I understand Italian celebrations, but a 40-minute wait for coffee and dessert is excessive. The service could be better… It's a good idea to make a reservation in advance.

The best restaurant in Baveno. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Very good quality. Very friendly service. A bit inconspicuously located on the main street, but with very nice tables behind the restaurant. We'll be back. Mille Grazie.

23/08/2025: I didn't go there, it was Google.com that connected the cell! Anyway, I see a good place in the historic center with no architectural barriers, just a stone's throw from the pasta factory!
22/08/2025: A welcoming and friendly place. Live music and a pleasant atmosphere. A good selection of wines and cocktails. Plus, the service is always friendly.
