Excellent Indian cuisine in a nice setting. Busy on Saturday nights. Friendly staff, but service can be a bit slow during peak hours.

I visit here every time I visit Milan. The staff are great and the food is fantastic. Don't worry if you thing the menu is a limited they will always try to accommodate you....chicken madras isn't on the menu but they always cook me a perfect curry every time. Another visit to Milan and another fantastic curry.

Truly special. The place is very intimate and expresses India effortlessly and without frills... it feels like being welcomed into someone's home. The cuisine is exactly the same, with abundant and varied dishes. I recommend the palak curry and the coconut cake. We'll be back to try the shrimp option too.

Locale indiano storico, per il mio gusto, cibo buono, non particolarmente saporito e aromatico come in altri ristoranti indiani. Servizio non particolarmente veloce ma accettabile. Direi che è un ristorante indiano nella media.

Shri Ganesh es mi para ir al restaurante indio en Milán. El personal es siempre acogedor, servicial y amable. La comida es deliciosa y llena de especias equilibradas. Su arroz siempre perfectamente amartillado y la carne simplemente se derrite en la lengua. El restaurante en sí tiene un gran ambiente con carteles indios en las paredes e iluminación de mal humor. Me encanta este lugar y lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

02/12/2025: For lunch during the week. I had a vegan thali (5 small plates, €19.00) + a compact thali (3 small plates, €16.00) + a dessert (€6.50).
01/12/2025: Govinda used to be a place for everyone: students, workers, and layabouts; fair prices, round tables that encouraged conviviality even among strangers. Now it's a trendy veggie restaurant, where for two vegetable Thalis and a half liter of flavored water I paid 60 euros—60 euros! I'm so curious to know what Krishna would say about all this.
