The food at this restaurant is genuinely excellent — flavorful, well-prepared, and nicely presented. However, the experience was completely overshadowed by the incredibly rude and toxic behavior of the staff. From the start, the staff was unfriendly and dismissive. When we asked for the bill and then requested coffee afterward, the waiter snapped, “Do you want the bill or the coffee?” — as if we couldn’t have both. When we tried to pay with euros and needed change, the response was, “Let me see what I can do,” in a tone that made it clear we were an inconvenience. The overall service was unwelcoming and made us feel uncomfortable throughout our meal. It’s unfortunate because the food has real potential, but the portions were small and overpriced. We ended up eating all the bread just to feel full. In short: great food, but the staff’s attitude ruined the experience. We won’t be returning.

The front of house staff were excellent, giving recommendations for food and wine. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was informal. They didn't know, but we were visiting on our 35th wedding anniversary. We wanted a special meal and this really did hit the spot. Would highly recommend.
