The 5-course tasting menu was excellent in terms of taste, it's a shame the quantities were a little small, we finished the meal feeling full, thanks to the bread.

We started with the appetizers: the freshest tuna tartare 🐟, clean in flavor and elegantly presented, followed by prawns with mushrooms and persimmons 🍤🍄🍑, an unusual yet surprisingly balanced combination, where sweetness and savory interact without ever overpowering each other. For the first course, spaghetti with squid ink 🖤🍝: intense, well-creamed, with a full and authentic seafood flavor. The finale was as good as the rest of the dinner 🍰👌: a precisely executed tiramisu and a deconstructed cheesecake with marinated beets ❤️, truly unique and unconventional, capping off the meal with personality and originality. Special mention goes to the staff, kind and attentive 😊, never intrusive, which contributes to creating a relaxed atmosphere. The setting is elegant 🕯️, well-maintained, and the services impeccably clean 🚿✨, a detail that is anything but obvious. Excellent and friendly service. The food is on par with Ikarus (Hangar 7). The waiter is amazing; he does a perfect job with the wine. Actually, it's too cheap for what's offered.

Fantastic New Year's Eve at Sestante! The staff was incredibly kind and professional. The atmosphere and music were top-notch, and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. The dishes were excellent, both in taste and presentation. Highly recommended!

Very nice place found randomly! And what a good one! Food was very good and tasty. You can feel the search behind the dish. We found it very tasty. The waitress, Fiona, was lovely and gave very good advices as well. The sommelier helped as well to pair the best wine to our meal. One of the rare restaurants in Venice which is not purely for tourists Very good experience for us and we would come back with pleasure.

We had a wonderful evening with special wine pairings and surprising combinations of the finest Venetian and Italian dishes! A meal or simply a delicious pasta dish with delicious fish! We were made welcome and learned a lot about Italian wine. Thank you, Matteo, for the wonderful evening.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Sestante. They offered a 5 course tasting menu with alcoholic and non alcoholic pairings, I got the wine pairing and my wife got the non alcoholic pairing. The wine pairing was amazing. But her non alcoholic pairing was yet more impressive! They really thought about it and it was both delicious and paired well with each course. Every course was so good. The main dish was monkfish two ways and the fritter was mind blowing. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. So worth the walk from our tour of St Mark and the Doge's palace.

Everything is perfect! Fiona, the waitress, does her job with professionalism and passion. The cuisine is refined and exquisite. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We will return next year during our next visit to Venice.
