The overall experience at this restaurant was positive from a culinary perspective, but was marred by a few service issues that significantly impacted the final rating.
We had a large table of 26 people. The meal was excellent: well-executed mushroom risotto, perfectly cooked, quality fillet steak, and, overall, carefully prepared dishes that were appreciated by the diners. The location is adequate, although slightly dated. There were no negative comments regarding the cuisine.
When it came to dessert, only five people at the table chose not to order it; the vast majority therefore ate dessert. After finishing my amaretto semifreddo, I politely asked a waiter if it was possible to have an additional small portion.
The request was rejected with the following response, formulated without the formal "Sir":
"Look, this isn't an all-you-can-eat restaurant."
The tone used was annoyed and disrespectful.
I should point out that my concern isn't solely with the way the response was communicated, but also with the context: given that it was a set menu and that some people at the table had chosen not to have dessert, the request seemed at least reasonable and not out of place. It goes without saying that the restaurant is free to refuse it; however, the firm refusal, without explanation, and accompanied by that tone, seemed unwelcome to the customer.
Subsequently, a lady and friend of mine at our table ordered a caffè corretto (Italian espresso). Due to the background noise and the presence of other tables, the customer didn't immediately hear when the waiter asked who it was for. Once the misunderstanding was cleared up, the waiter replied irritably:
"Oh, okay, but you can answer, I've been calling for two hours,"
once again without using the formal "Sir" and with an attitude that made the customer uncomfortable.
Finally, as we were leaving the restaurant, I witnessed the same waiter excessively and blatantly reprimand a very young colleague, who throughout the service had been extremely kind, polite, and professional, both with our table and with the other customers. This incident also seemed out of place in a public setting.
I think it's fair to point out that all the other staff members behaved impeccably: the waiters were helpful and courteous, including the youngest colleague, and the bar and cashier staff were professional and attentive. The incidents described can only be traced back to one individual, but they were enough to compromise the overall experience.
The quality of the cuisine and the work of the rest of the staff undoubtedly deserve consideration; however, courtesy, language, and respect—toward customers and employees—are integral to the service and cannot be overlooked.
The incidents described always involved the same waiter, easily identifiable by the management present that day.

Much to my delight, as a celiac, I was able to enjoy a fantastic risotto, gluten-free tortellini, and a delicious tagliata, as well as ice cream.
I'm thrilled to finally be able to eat a complete dinner with good ingredients, considering my condition.

It has a large parking lot.
Their specialties are tortellini and roast shank.
A large, bright dining room with festively set tables.
Average prices.
Reservations are appreciated.
