Good food, friendly service, and a fair price for a lakefront view.

Plus: The food was very well-balanced in terms of flavor, not too salty, and the pasta wasn't overcooked. We tried pasta with asparagus, with shrimp, and the soup of the day with bacon dumplings. It was prepared quickly. Friendly service. Very clean, both inside and out. There's a children's playground outside. And of course, the location is fantastic. Minus: They didn't serve water with espresso (which we've often noticed in various restaurants around here), but the coffee itself was very good. Based on our experience, we can't understand the restaurant's mediocre rating.

Excellent, fast, and quality food, fair price, actually below average. It would be a shame not to try it.

Very high prices for food. We only had drinks (3€ tea, 4€ hot chocolate). Service was sometimes quick, sometimes we had to get their attention. Nice terrace and very nicely decorated interior.

Very good pizza and coffee and probably many other dishes that I haven't tried.

The waiter Emanuele was particularly kind, attentive, and capable. We'll be back.

We stopped here for lunch last year, and given the excellent experience, we returned yesterday at noon. Plenty of outdoor seating with a lake view, and the place is also very charming inside. The staff is courteous and fast, and the food is plentiful and excellent. The prices aren't exactly affordable, but considering the location and the view, they're reasonable. Like last year, it was a great way to end our short vacation. Recommended.

Nice modern restaurant. Nice and helpful staff. The food was tasty and really big portions. The only thing I would change is to serve packaged ketchup and mayonnaise with the food. It would definitely deserve some homemade sauces.

Il Fienile is a very elegant restaurant; the food is good, and the service is friendly and attentive. Excellent location, right next to the cross-country ski run, with a lake view. Unfortunately, the bill is really high, even with the right ratios, and this isn't a strategy, as 4 restaurants suggest...
